This is a film about movies for people who make movies. It is a lasting tribute to an obsolete form of media. For many the evolution of film has been a struggle to keep up with technology (my college used Laserdisc). It is a comfort to know there are still purists who respect the media as a unique visual expression. As someone who has studied film I was impressed by the content of this tribute. You know the expression, "they just don't make them like they used to." Well, Celestino and Garren are masters of their craft. "The Last Days of Cinerama" was well done. This is a must-watch for anyone with an appreciation of the history of our industry.
