At 9:53 The captain claims to have flown B-17s at 'The Battle of the Bulge". The Battle of the Bulge was fought during difficult winter weather which grounded all Allied air operations in the area. Furthermore the B-17 was a high altitude strategic bombers that had no role to play in a battlefield environment.
At 9:34 the co-pilot says: "...they don't have a manners class at Annapolis." Annapolis is a US Navy training facility. While there is a Navy flight Centre there, moments later the Captain will claim to have been in the US Army Air Force flying B-17s. So he would not have trained at Annapolis.

After everything goes down and the gang is at HQ finding out what happened to the people on the plane someone says that they always got the rap up and found out what happened, but Ben didn't. That might be the case for some of them, but for the vast majority of his leaps Ben did find out what ended up happening to the people he helped.
