  John Reese : [suddenly alarmed]  When did you talk to your uncle?

  John Reese : Tritak invests in the Louisiana/Texas pipeline running gas to the northeast.

  Harold Finch : People need natural gas. So for the most part, Tritak should keep a steady price. But it shot up 600 percent recently because of a buy frenzy initiated at Baylor Zimm.

  John Reese : Insider trading?

  Harold Finch : Happened before. Adam knew about it then, maybe he knows now.

  John Reese : Except he won't walk away this time. We were almost roadkill last night. I'm getting tired of playing around.

  Harold Finch : Proprietary. He invests the bank's own money, not the client's.

• John Reese : Someone just tried to kill Adam, Finch.

  Harold Finch : How's Saunders after last night?

  John Reese : He thinks it was an accident.

  Harold Finch : And you're sure it wasn't?

  John Reese : It's called "funneling. " You force your target into a kill zone by subtly shifting his direction. Carter's looking at the scene now. The vehicles, the stoplight, it was professional. But who wants Adam dead enough to bring in a hit team?
