The 38th annual Imagen Awards celebrated Latino excellence and it was a flamin’ night for Eva Longoria who took the trophy for her feature-length directorial debut.
Longoria directed Flamin’ Hot, the story about the creation of the spicy Frito-Lay snack. The film also took awards for Best Feature Film with Jesse García taking the accolade in the Best Actor – Feature Film category for his portrayal of Richard Montañez.
Other winners of the night included Zoe Saldaña for her acting work on Avatar: The Way of Water and Antonio Banderas for his voice-over work in the animated film Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.

The 38th Annual Imagen Awards took place on Sunday, Dec. 3 to celebrate Latino excellence and contributions to Hollywood. Taking place at the Biltmore Hotel in L.A., the talent that showed up to the event included Gina Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos, Michael Cimino, Enrique Arrizon, Julieta Egurrola, and many more.

Netflix has revealed the lineup for Tudum, the streamer’s second annual free virtual global fan event set for September 24.
Per the streamer, the event will feature “news, never-before-seen footage, trailers, and first looks, as well as interviews with Netflix’s biggest stars and creators.”
The Crown Season 5, Bridgerton Season 3, Queen Charlotte and the anticipated sci-fi drama Three-Body Problem are just a few of the TV shows set to be previewed.

Netflix has set the date for its second annual free virtual fan convention Tudum, plotting out five “global” events in 24 hours for Sept. 24.
The 2022 Tudum will offer the streamer’s fans an “exciting day of exclusive news, never-before-seen footage, trailers, and first looks, as well as interviews with Netflix’s biggest stars and creators,” per Netflix. “The free virtual event is a celebration of Netflix fandom and is dedicated to sharing the scoop on over 120 fan-favorite shows, films, specials and games from across the globe.”
