The first 3 min is great
I love making films, i really do! Yesterday when I rewatched GAUTE, I rediscovered its beauty. The film isn't just emotionally capturing, but it is also so incredibly cynical and cold-hearted that you will sense dread and sorrow. I recall making it, but only vaguely during nights of pain and anxiety attacks. Inspirations aglow, yes, it was all that jazz. Jazz is a musical genre that inspired me and my fellow brother, we listened to the jazz and it made us realize; life is only but a dream. As Werner Herzog said to me during my time in Berlin; "Yes my apprentice, you are talented and will shackle the foundations of the Earth", yes I do remember. Herzog aside, GAUTE is and will always remain in my heart, as one of those moments in my life where everything came together as one piece of orchestral magic.
