Well it's about damn time! Why it's taken so long to get The Evil Dead out on Blu-ray is beyond me, but now it's coming, and Anchor Bay has released a press release with all the little details. The Blu-ray is set to hit the street on August 31st.
This Blu-ray transfer was personally supervised by writer/directer Sam Raimi, and there is a cool all new audio commentary with Raimi and Bruce Campbell which should be fun to listen to. I can't wait to get myself a copy!
