- TriviaABC estimates that 20.5 million unique viewers watched the series finale of Lost during its 2-1/2 hour broadcast. This episode was also the most pirated television episode ever on bit torrent networks, despite the fact that it was simulcasted, without subtitles and at antisocial hours for some viewers because of the time difference, in the UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Israel, and Canada.
- Crazy creditsThe end credits ran alongside images of what appears to be the wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 with no living people present. These were not part of the episode; ABC have confirmed that they were added as a soft, nostalgic transition between the ending of Lost and the next show. The images remained in the credits for the DVD and Blu-ray releases, however this did not mean that the survivors died in the initial plane crash or they had been dead all along. It only meant to remind the viewers of the beginning of LOST.

Probably the best show and ending ever
I'll take a few minutes to talk about Lost. What a show. What a life experience. Anyone who believes this is a bad ending is not smart enough and has to watch the whole show all over again, maybe they will understand the true essence of this television masterpiece.
