Watch as ghosts must brave a maze and face the terror!
Aaron137514 March 2010
I happened across this short and have to say I found it quite humorous if a bit strange. The plot is simple, ghosts are hiding in a room grieving their lost companion who was apparently eaten. Well they decide to try and escape this place and they enter the maze. They start getting picked off by the strange yellow chomping monster. Well there seems to be a way to stop this beast, but will any of them get the chance? Yes, it is rather cheap looking as the ghost costumes look like colored garbage bags, but Pac-man looked all right and I loved the scene that showed the blood after he ate the pink ghost. I also enjoyed the way they injected the actual game into their little movie too. Some of the arguing got a bit annoying as it was almost as bad as "The Blair Witch Project" at times, but overall it entertained and it was over fairly quickly so I can not really complain about it being to long. The movie kind of reminds me of a shorter version of the Canadian film "The Cube", only the infighting is not nearly as intolerable and it wraps up quickly as I thought that film should have been a short rather than a full length picture.

A very funny and clever mock dramatization of the classic 80's video game

Warning: Spoilers
Four scared and distraught ghosts find themselves trapped in a maze with a vicious and relentless giant yellow monster that wants to eat all of them. Will any of the ghosts survive? Writers/directors Stanley Wong and Tyler Russell whip up a pleasingly short and snappy little hoot which pokes extremely amusing fun at the vintage 80's video game: The cast all deliver suitably hysterical performances, the production values are hilariously paltry (the ghosts are all obviously wearing multi-colored plastic garbage bags complete with cut-out eyeholes!), and such tried'n'true cornball horror clichés as ominously shuddery music, shaky hand-held camera-work, and creepy shadows on walls are cheerfully sent up with winning wit and verve. Moreover, it's cool to see ghosts being shown as hapless and frightened victims for a change. The climactic confrontation between the last surviving ghost and Pac-Man is positively sidesplitting. A complete riot.

this was hilarious and epic. my favourite part was when the ghost (blinky or Clyde?) charged at pac-man and killed him. this was an overall good short and i wish it was a bit longer (or maybe had a sequel called "pac man 2: mrs pac man". one of my personal favourites. this made me want to watch a horror movie >:D. one thing, though is that dinky shouldn't be a credited actor he had a very short part. the creator could've just made one of the other actors do it. i loled at part when one of the ghost's nose goes thru the costumes eye hole XD!i liked how pac man was just like an animal hunting its prey rather than an intelligent character. this is one thing that makes me wish there was an actual pac man movie.
