Michael Ilesanmi is back on social media, but without a wedding band and without caring about what his wife, Angela Deem, thinks about him.
Michael and Angela’s up-and-down relationship has been playing out since 2018, when they debuted their storyline in Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.
Since then, the franchise’s most tumultuous couple has appeared in several spinoffs, chronicling their rollercoaster of a love story.
Off camera, we’ve learned that things between Michael and Angela haven’t improved since we were introduced to them six years ago.
Most recently, Michael went missing in Georgia after finally arriving in the U.S. on his K-1 visa.
Michael was eventually found safe and sound, but his and Angela’s marriage has remained on the rocks.

There is not much known about Prince Harry’s relationship with is three nephews: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, who just turned six. When all three were born, Harry still had a decent relationship with his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton, but so much has changed over the last five years.
Harry seemingly used to spoil his niece and nephews, though, with rumors that he once paid nearly $10,000 for one of Prince Louis’ Christening gifts.

Ever since Winnie the Pooh entered the public domain in 2022, most of the projects that were announced from the non-Disney side of things have been more adult-oriented. One went the stoner comedy route, while another and more popular take was horror with the 2023 slasher film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Despite primarily negative reviews, the film went somewhat viral online, thus leading to a direct sequel and even starting an entire cinematic universe.
Now it has been announced that a third film in the series is in the works from production company Jagged Edge Productions. The third film will apparently round out the cast of book characters, with not only Rabbit appearing but also Heffalump(s) and Woozle(s). No mention of Jagular(s), though. This film will also apparently have a budget higher of the first two. Disney is most likely not happy with their continued butchering of these classic characters.

It's official: Winnie the Pooh is getting his very own horror trilogy. That's right! Even though "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2" just hit theaters for a limited engagement through Fathom Events, Jagged Edge Productions has announced that a third installment in the franchise is already underway. The so-called Twisted Childhood Universe continues to expand by the day.
According to Variety, Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Scott Chambers of Jagged Edge Productions have confirmed a third installment in the budding franchise based on the beloved characters created by A.A. Milne. But since they entered the public domain a couple of years ago, the filmmakers have taken a great deal of creative license and turned them into feral, murderous creatures. The experiment has worked as the first "Blood and Honey" was a genuine box office surprise, pulling in more than $5 million on a budget of less than $50,000.

Winnie the Pooh has been a childhood icon of many for years. Known for his kindness of heart and naiveness, the yellow bear from A. A. Milne and E.H. Shepard’s imagination has been a comfort character for countless children for decades. And so to have it reimagined as a horror and serial murderer character is an absolutely horrendous and baffling idea.

Plot: Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl and Tigger take their fight to the town of Ashdown, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.
Review: Last year’s Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey proved to be one of the worst horror films of the year. It was my least favorite theatrical experience and completely barren of any passion. It was a dull affair that failed to deliver much on the horror or the fun. So I rolled my eyes when a sequel was announced. Then they reached near the back of my skull when the Poohniverse was announced. But I’m here to tell you that it appears the filmmakers learned their lesson and understand what their films need to be: fun.

For more than 40 years now, moviegoers have lined up to see the spectacle of people being slaughtered by a psycho with a chainsaw, a psycho in a Halloween mask, a psycho in a goalie mask, a psycho with burnt skin and a striped shirt and fedora, or a psycho with S&m nails in his face. So why not a psycho Winnie the Pooh?
“Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” raised a few hackles — otherwise known as free publicity — for having the scuzzy temerity to take a couple of beloved children’s characters and place them at the center of a slasher film. Yet the stunt concept was about all there was to it. The movie, made on a budget of $50,000, was too logy and inept to be a real scandal, or any sort of theatrical sleeper hit. If the original Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey, as the exact same movie, had been made in Italy during the ‘70s, it’s just the sort of film Quentin Tarantino would be hailing as a lost masterpiece today.

A Winnie the Pooh slasher film is getting the sequel treatment, and the newly-minted “Twisted Childhood Universe (Tcu)” is getting its first major crossover event.
Just months after Winnie the Pooh entered the public domain in 2022, Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios made waves for producing Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a slasher film depicting A.A. Milne’s beloved characters of the Hundred Acre Wood as feral, blood-hungry killers. Despite very, very negative critical reception (it has a 3% on Rotten Tomatoes), the film made $5 million at the box office on a $50,000 budget, and led to other planned horror films featuring children’s characters now in the public domain like Bambi, Pinocchio, and the characters of Peter Pan.
Now, a grand cinematic crossover event with these characters is imminent: Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble will hit theaters in 2025. As reported by Variety, the Avengers-style low-budget horror crossover will see Winnie the Pooh join villainous forces with Bambi,...

Ah, the magic of the public domain. The arch nemesis of studios and corporations and copyright lawyers everywhere is nothing but a boon to the rest of us, allowing literally anyone to get their hands on famous properties and shamelessly twist and pervert them beyond all recognition. That's precisely what happened with the beloved character of Winnie the Pooh just over two years ago, allowing for a slew of knockoff (and frankly terrible) B-movie horror flicks like "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" and its upcoming sequel. Well, things are about to kick into another gear entirely as an entire shared universe is apparently now in the works.
Just when you thought it was safe to visit the Hundred Acre Wood again. In the bloodiest and most un-family-friendly news we'll probably get this week, Variety revealed that the creative team responsible for "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" is now...

The results are in on the 2024 Razzie Awards, and it was a very big (but not necessarily great) night for one movie and one actress this year.
The annual awards show, which took place one day before the 2024 Oscars on Saturday (March 9), hands out awards to performers and movies that have been deemed the “worst.”
Going into the ceremony, Expend4bles led the pack of nominees with 7 nods in categories such as Worst Picture and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off of Sequel.
However, when it came time for the awards to be handed out, another movie swept the field, picking up five Razzies. One actress also won big, being named Worst Actress and Worst Supporting Actress.
However, one Hollywood icon received redemption this year!

Slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey swept the five categories it was nominated in for at the 44th annual Razzies, which “honor” the worst of filmmaking. The awards were announced today.
‘Winnie the Pooh’ won the Razzie in the picture, director, screenplay, screen couple and remake/rip-off/sequel categories. The film, based on the beloved children’s literary character, follows Pooh and Piglet, who have become feral and bloodthirsty murderers. They terrorize a group of young university women and the returning Christopher Robin.
The Razzie Redeemer Award, bestowed on a past contender who has “gone on to better things” since being nominated for a Razzie, went to “The Nanny” actor and SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher for her leadership during the 2023 actor strike.
Drescher was nominated in 1998 for worst actress in the romantic comedy film The Beautician and the Beast.

Awards season tends to give movie fans all of the glitz and glamor that we love about Hollywood…That is, until it doesn’t. As is tradition, the weekend of the 96th Academy Awards also saw the industry honoring the worst in motion pictures, with the Golden Raspberry Awards aka the Razzies giving out statues to the likes of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Sylvester Stallone and Megan Fox.
While Expend4bles had the most nominations going into this year’s Razzies with seven, it was Blood and Honey – which popularized a hopefully limited trend of public domain horror – that won the most with five.

Meg 2: The Trench
Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey – Winner

It’s the countdown to Oscar weekend, and the best films and performances in Hollywood are set to be honored with the coveted golden statuette. There’s a pandemic going on right now. It involves filmmakers taking characters that have recently fallen under Public Domain and making a horror film with them. This isn’t an issue on its own, as adaptations of past work can make for some great films. But with movies like Mickey’s Mouse Trap, Steamboat Willie, Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey, and even Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, quality doesn’t seem to be on these filmmakers’ minds. No, the intention just seems to be to make a quick buck.
There was a YouTube trend many years ago where fan films would spring up that looked damn near movie quality. I still look back fondly upon stuff like Mortal Kombat Legacy or even serious Power Rangers. So, it’s not exactly a new concept. But what these new films are lacking is any kind of passion for the adapted material.

Made on a budget of less than $100,000, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (watch it Here) earned more than $6 million during its global release earlier this year – so of course we’re getting a sequel, which is going by the title Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, very soon. A specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, but today a batch of character posters have arrived online, and you can check those out at the bottom of this article. The posters feature Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger.
A.A. Milne’s 1926 children’s book Winnie-the-Pooh and the characters in it lapsed into the public domain at the start of last year, and that’s how Frake-Waterfield was able to make these movies happen, no permission required. Constellation is a brand new series launching on Apple TV+, and to mark the occasion we spoke to several of the talents involved in bringing this thought-provoking sci-fi thriller to our screens. To begin we spoke to the duo that is Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks, which allowed for us to *finally* ask the latter if he used Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh as a reference point for his depiction of Mike in Breaking Bad.
We also spoke to both James D’Arcy and William Catlett as they speak fondly of their former teachers, both in education and in their careers, with special nods to those who have set them on the path they’re on today. And finally we get into deep conversation with those behind the lens, speaking to both Peter Harness and Michelle MacLaren, as we talk about the parallels between creating art and being on a film or TV set,...

Winnie the Pooh entered the public domain in 2022, and director Rhys Frake-Waterfield immediately took full advantage. His 2023 movie "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" was a slasher film where an adult Christopher Robin finds himself being hunted down by his old childhood friends, Winnie and Piglet. It's a gory nightmare of a movie made popular by the gimmick of having its killers be the sweet, cuddly characters we've all grown up loving.
The movie was not well-received by critics, mainly because it doesn't offer a whole lot beyond the initial shock value of its premise. As /Film's own Witney Seibold put it in his review, "'Blood and Honey' will disappoint fans of Pooh, fans of irony, and fans of horror. Don't bother." But despite the movie's 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it was still a clear-cut financial success, making $5 million at the international box office despite its reported budget of under $100,000. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is one of the rare films in history which received a shocking 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. Films that are considered some of the worst films ever made have never got to that low of an Rt score. The film has been memefied all over the internet and became the laughing stock of cinephiles in 2023.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was an epic disaster on every level
Despite the overwhelming backlash and criticism, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield is set to release the sequel of the film this year. In a recent interview, he reflected on the negativity that the film got. He also defended it by citing the conditions it was made under and weirdly comparing it with Marvel films.

In the past few years, there have been more than a few films in Hollywood that took childhood classic characters, that symbolize innocence and purity and turned them into something horrid and dark.
The Winnie the Pooh horror film is the perfect example. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey follows the story of a setting where Christopher Robin goes to show his fiance to his childhood friends, only to find out that things have drastically changed.
A still from Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey
The concept is something that hasn’t been seen before and stirred a lot of conversation. Despite this, it would seem that the film could not pass two of the biggest loops that any film has to pass to be relevant and successful; audience and critics.
The 2023 film scored embarrassingly in both of the categories, unfortunately turning itself into the laughingstock of the horror community.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is among those entries in the slasher film category that horrifyingly re-conceptualize iconic children’s properties and characters that were (and continue to be) symbols of child-like familiarity and nostalgia in most audiences’ lives. Development of the horror movie started in 2022, the same year that A.A. Milne’s 1926 book about the titular anthropomorphic teddy bear went into public domain.
Although the endeavor sparked public intrigue at the peak of its announcement, the responses it received at the time were divisive.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023)
Upon its release, partly due to its viral stature, the Rhys Frake-Waterfield-helmed and written premise was triumphant at the box office, given its $100,000 budget. However, it failed to resonate with critics and several viewers and earned itself a 3% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Expend4bles tops the not-so-coveted list of Razzie Award nominations this year, with seven chances to take home a dubious honor.
Tying for a close second were The Exorcist: Believer and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, each receiving five noms.
“After strikes, lingerings of a worldwide plague and a general sense of universal agoraphobia, the decline of the cinematic experience goes without saying,” Razzie organizers said in announcing today’s nominations. “Thankfully, a doll pic and a bomb movie jump-started The Industry, which still left a trail of Pooh behind for the Razzies to pick up!”
This year’s acting contenders feature former Oscar winners Jon Voight, Russell Crowe and Dame Helen Mirren, as well as Razzie Repeat Offenders Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox and Jennifer Lopez.
Results were determined by the votes of Razzie Members. Five top contenders were chosen in each of nine categories. The 44th annual Razzie “Winners” (for whom there will literally be no red carpet) will be unveiled on the now traditional “Oscar Eve,” Saturday, March 9.

Awards season is here, which means it is also time for the annual Golden Raspberry Awards. The Razzies, which aims to (dis)honor the least successful films of the year, has announced nominations for its 44th edition.
The most-nominated film is “Expend4bles,” the fourth entry in the action-packed, but critically underwhelming, “The Expendables” franchise. It received seven nominations. Tied for second place with five noms are “The Exorcist: Believer,” the revival of the classic horror series, and “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey,” a blood-soaked take on everyone’s favorite honey-loving bear. Two big-budget superhero movies, DC’s “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” and Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” both got four nominations.

The film earned seven nominations for the Razzie Awards, which honor the worst of the year and are announced annually ahead of the Oscars noms announcement, which takes place Tuesday morning.
Expend4bles is one of five movies competing for “worst picture” of the year. The nominees in that category, along with the Razzies’ comments, are:
— The Exorcist: Believer: “a 50-years-later remake/rip-off that was horrifying in unintended ways”
— Expend4bles: “another installment of a franchise that’s fading faster than Razzie ‘winner’ Donald Trump’s mental acuity”
— Meg 2: The Trench: “a fishy tale about a snarky shark that flopped across all seven seas”
— Shazam! Fury of the Gods: “one of 2023’s several comic book movies failing to save the superhero genre”

On January 1, 2024, the original incarnation of Mickey Mouse, Steamboat Willie, entered into the public domain. Steamboat Willie, born in 1928, is the crown jewel of thousands of pieces of intellectual property that have just seen their copyright expire, a crop that also includes the original German version of “All Quiet on the Western Front,” Virginia Woolf’s “Orlando,” an iteration of Peter Pan, and more.
Monday’s date had been circled on the calendar of many opportunistic filmmakers, and not 48 hours after New Year’s Eve turned to New Year’s Day, several Steamboat Willie-inspired projects — all of them some iteration of twisted, slasher horror — have been announced. This one already put out a trailer, this one (from the guy who did a horror parody of “The Grinch”) put out a press release, and this one is a horror video game based on Mickey — er, Willie — the most popular cartoon character in the world.

As much grief as we give Disney Adults, one of the most shamed groups of people on the internet, we must now all come together to defeat a much greater evil: the directors creating horror films using beloved childhood Disney characters as they begin to enter public domain. The copyright on the version of Mickey Mouse from the debut short, Steamboat Willie (1928), expired as we entered the new year. Already, details — and even a trailer — have been shared about two upcoming movies starring the darling rodent in a murderous capacity.

The earliest version of Mickey Mouse from 1928’s Steamboat Willie just entered public domain, allowing filmmakers free rein to give the character a new spin. One of the first projects to take advantage is a slasher flick titled Mickey’s Mouse Trap, in which the killer dons a Mickey Mouse mask while stalking victims in an amusement park.
As seen in the newly released trailer, Mickey’s Mouse Trap falls into similar territory as the Scream franchise, offering meta commentary about the horror genre. After one character says he’ll be right back, another comments, “Well, he’s dead. Like, if he was in a horror movie, you’d never say, ‘I’ll be right back,’ because then you don’t.” Watch it below.
The official synopsis reads: “It’s Alex’s 21st birthday, but she’s stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift so her friends decide to surprise her,...

Well, that didn’t take long.
On the first day that Disney’s 1928 short Steamboat Willie entered the public domain, a trailer has dropped for a horror comedy film featuring none other than Mickey Mouse as the killer.
The synopsis for the film, called Mickey’s Mouse Trap, reads: “It’s Alex’s 21st birthday, but she’s stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift so her friends decide to surprise her, but a masked killer dressed as Mickey Mouse decides to play a game of his own with them which she must survive.”
The trailer features, yep, a person in a Mickey Mouse costume, wearing what resembles a hockey jersey without the letters, attacking a victim and stalking others inside a Chuck E. Cheese-type place (reminiscent of last year’s horror hit Five Nights at Freddy’s). There also is Scream-like self-awareness about the horror genre, including one...

Dan O’Neill was 53 years ahead of his time.
In 1971, he launched a countercultural attack on Mickey Mouse. In his underground comic book, “Air Pirates Funnies,” the lovable mouse was seen smuggling drugs and performing oral sex on Minnie.
As O’Neill had hoped, Disney sued him for copyright infringement. He believed it was a legal parody. But after eight years in court, he was saddled with a judgment he could not pay. To stay out of prison, he agreed never to draw Mickey Mouse again.
“It’s still a crime for me,” said O’Neill, 81, in a phone interview from his home in Nevada City, Calif. “If I draw a picture of Mickey Mouse, I owe Walt Disney a $190,000 fine, $10,000 more for legal fees, and a year in prison.”

With this year being the 100 year anniversary of The Walt Disney Company and the release of their latest animated title, Wish, we wanted to know what animated Disney film has been your favorite over the years? We stuck to films specifically released by Disney, so no Pixar titles are included. What struck me while compiling the list is the progression of their films. From the innocence of their early work to what many consider their heyday in the early 90’s to the emergence of the CGI era. For many of us, Disney films defined our youth, but which is the one that has remained with you all these years? As always, if you don’t see your favorite listed, please click “Other” and let us know what it is in the comments section as well as any fond memories you have of these timeless classics.

"Good night, John-Boy. Good night, Elizabeth. And good night, daddy. Good night, son. And good night, mama. Good night, Mary Ellen. Good night, Jim Bob." Even if you've never watched a single moment of the classic TV show "The Waltons," the impact the series has had on television continues on even to this day. With the series' roots stemming back all the way to one of the most hated episodes of "The Twilight Zone" in history, references to "The Waltons" have extended all the way to films like 2016's "The Nice Guys," where Matt Bomber's villainous Dr. Malek is given the code name "John Boy" as he shares a similar facial birthmark to John-Boy actor Richard Thomas.
Created by Earl Hamner Jr., "The Waltons" centered on the titular family in rural Virginia during the Great Depression and World War II, based on Hamner Jr.'s book "Spencer's Mountain." With a...

As Disney has been enthusiastically reminding us all year, 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio by Walt and Roy Disney. Walt was an animator whose previous company, Laugh-o-Gram Studio, which he founded with Ub Iwerks, had just gone bankrupt. Meanwhile Roy was still suffering from tuberculosis. Yet the studio they founded would come to be ranked number 53 on the Fortune 500 list of the biggest companies in the United States in 2022. More impressive still, the company has achieved the ever elusive mystique of being a brand adored and respected around the world.
The Walt Disney Company (as it has been known since 1986) has expanded into all sorts of areas over the years, from theme parks to superhero movies to streaming documentaries, but the heart and soul of the endeavour is still, at the end of things, Walt Disney Animation Studios, which was put into...

The co-director of Disney Animation’s Wish revealed whether the company would look into creating new 2D animated movies.
Wish sports a unique look. While it is 3D animated, its style is directly inspired by the many 2D movies that came before—though it's been a while since Disney Animation launched any 2D animated films. Nonetheless, Wish has received positive reviews thus far.
The last Disney Animation movie in 2D was 2011’s Winnie the Pooh and The Princess and the Frog before that. Since then, the studio leaned fully into 3D animation, producing hits such as Frozen, Moana, and Encanto.

With a title like Freddy’s Fridays, it’s obvious this was meant to cash in on the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s. And with the length of time that film took to actually get made both of the other knockoffs, The Banana Splits Movie and Willy’s Wonderland ended up preceding it to release, so Freddy’s Fridays has the mockbuster slot all to itself.
Todd is bringing an escort named Anastasia home. She doesn’t seem overly concerned when he brings her not to his apartment but to a basement full of candles, chains, and a book with an eye in the middle of the cover. She even reads from it, which is a big mistake. Four figures appear and hack her to pieces as Todd watches.

In the blissful infancy of YouTube back in 2006, one of the medium's earliest viral sensations was a video called "Scary Mary." YouTube creator Christopher Rule edited his own trailer for "Mary Poppins," Disney's 1964 musical classic. Instead of depicting the movie's family-friendly fantasy, though, Rule cut "Scary Mary" as a horror film. The result was surprisingly convincing, and posited an intriguing, funny, and somewhat disturbing thesis: With a change in perspective, beloved fictional characters can instantly switch from kind to creepy.
The team behind "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" — a real movie in the Year of Our Lord, 2023 — embraced this spirit to imagine the universally adored Pooh Bear of literature and film as a serial killer. The film's violent conclusion leaves its story open-ended, and its filmmakers are just getting started building a children's-character-turned-slasher cinematic universe straight out of a fever dream.
And thus, I find myself for the third time this...

“Most Anticipated New Release of February” has never been a coveted film industry honorific — but for horror fans, there was no denying that “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” deserved the title in 2023. From the minute the viral trailer for Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s slasher take on A.A. Milne’s “Winnie the Pooh” books — which had recently entered the public domain after years of being controlled by Disney — dropped online, depraved cinephiles were desperate to see Pooh and Piglet dismember some horny spring breakers.
I was one of those ardent supporters of the concept, so I gleefully accepted an assignment to attend the one-night-only screening of the film in Los Angeles. The theater was buzzing with horror fans eager to see the violent side of Winnie the Pooh that Walt Disney had woefully neglected — which only made it more surprising when the film’s producer and cinematographer Vince Knight took the...

Fourth graders at a K-12 charter school in Miami Springs got an upsetting Halloween surprise when their teacher screened the horror movie “Winnie the Pooh: Honey and Blood,” reports CBS News Miami. Despite the title of the film including “Winnie the Pooh,” the movie is not suitable for children as it follows Winnie and Piglet on a blood-thirsty rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them for college. The film was shown to fourth graders at the Academy of Innovative Education on Oct. 2.
“I feel completely abandoned by the school,” Michelle Diaz, a parent whose twins were in the fourth grade class, told CBS News, adding that the movie was shown because of a “careless teacher.”
According to Diaz, the film played for “20 to 30 minutes” before the teacher shut it off. She said that the students were allowed to a pick a movie to watch and they selected “Blood and Honey,” but...
