Cinematographer Vincent Peter Mocco used only one lens for the entire shoot - a Zeiss zoom lens - for maximum mobility.
The film was originally called "Thaw." Writer/Director Zach Busch changed the title after completing and watching the first rough cut.
The film was shot over the course of just one day in November 2020. It was shot in story order, in part to work with the changes in the light throughout the day.
