- [Roger and Seth are playing bowling]
- Seth: I always beat my dad.
- Roger (young): Well, I'm not your dad.
- Seth: Obviously. You showed up.
- Roger (young): I used to be in advertising. So, I guess the, uh, upselling is second nature to me.
- Ellen: Well, I used to be married, so I know a bit about false advertising.
- Roger Sharpe: The antagonist is a piece of paper in a filing cabinet and the bad guy is not only dead, he's got an airport named after him.
- Roger (young): if you wanna achieve something, you gotta aim for something
- Mr. Sharpe: find what you want, and take the shot
- Ben Chikofsky: That's a new compromised machine to comply with the law. No plunger, no bumpers, no payout, no free games.
- Ellen: Do you work in the building?
- Roger (young): No.
- Ellen: Oh!
- Roger (young): I hope to.
- [Both chuckle]
- Roger (young): Interview. Ask me in an hour.
- Ellen: You're asking me on a date?
- Roger (young): I'm sorry. *No.*
- Ellen: Oh, I'm kidding. I'm-I'm-I'm to... I'm just kidding.
- Roger (young): [laughs nervously] Right. Right.
- Ellen: Yeah.
- [clears throat]
- Roger (young): Although... uh, maybe... lunch?
- Ellen: Oh.
