After the first round of nods were announced, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed the remaining nominations on Friday morning (April 19)
The upcoming awards celebrate and recognize “outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs.”
The Kelly Clarkson Show leads the daytime talk show categories with nine noms while The Young and the Restless‘ Eric Braeden earned his first nomination in over 20 years!

The full list of 51st Annual Daytime Emmy nominations was announced on Friday morning, April 19, at 9:00am Pacific/12:00pm Eastern by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Scroll down to see who made the cut in all 40 categories. Winners will be announced live on Friday, June 7, at 8:00 pm Eastern/delayed Pacific, on CBS, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. On Tuesday, May 23, HBO Max is going away — when it will be reskinned as Max, stocked with more than twice the total amount of programming. Max’s expanded streaming menu includes the addition of hundreds of episodes of Discovery+ shows, and it’s set to get dozens of new TV shows and movies over the next month.
The new Max will feature 35,000 hours of programming, more than double what has been available on HBO Max. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, the service will be continuously updated with fresh content, averaging more than 40 new movie titles and TV seasons per month.

In the wake of Warner Bros. Discovery’s merger, HBO Max has removed a host of titles, including many that it produced and owns outright, prompting a single question — why?
Earlier this week, HBO Max thinned its library of available titles with the removal of 20 originals and an additional 16 movies. Some of the impacted titles were the one-season cult queer series “Genera+ion,” and animated shows like “Infinity Train” and “Summer Camp Island.” The streamer also announced that select “Sesame Street” specials would be cut, which turned out to be around 200 episodes of the iconic children’s show.
The answer is both simple and complex. Company insiders told CNBC that the dropped shows were not frequently watched but that their removal is expected to produce “tens of millions” of dollars in savings as Warner Bros. Amid puzzling film removals and the shelving of the Batgirl movie at HBO Max, Chip and Joanna Gaines and the streamer announced Thursday, August 4 that more than eight shows from the Magnolia Network will come to HBO Max in September and October. Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, The Lost Kitchen, Growing Floret, Family Dinner with Andrew Zimmern, Restoration Road with Clint Harp, Maine Cabin Masters, and the complete five-season Fixer Upper library will arrive on HBO Max on Friday, September 30. The collection will be grouped into a new Magnolia Network spotlight page on the streaming platform. The full network’s slate will still be available on discovery+. Additionally, the upcoming Fixer Upper: The Castle from Chip and Joanna Gaines will drop concurrently on Magnolia Network, HBO Max, and discovery+ on Friday, October 14 at 9/8c.
