There is something delicously earthy about the aristocracy and their affairs compared to those of the lower classes and it is brilliantly depicted here.
I was apprehensive about taking the time to watch this, but, after just one episode, I am hooked on the skulduggery of it all even it did seem to go slightly AWOL for a while about half way through.
I can see that American market is going to love it with the posh voices, the beautifully windswept scenery and the imperfections of the upper classes.
Ian maybe an absolute bounder but at least this is a jolly good show.
