- Around the 54 minute mark a sequence of scenes where a woman's body is distorted by bones breaking by an invisible force. Eyes bleeding also. Later a child is seen dead with bleeding eyes. Shortly after, a man stabs his own eyes with a small piece of metal offscreen. He brings the metal up to his eye, and then the scene cuts to the floor where blood drops onto his shoe. While it's not gory, some viewers might find it disturbing.
- At around the half way mark through the episode, there is a brutal shootout in which blood splatter is very visible with each gunshot. Possibly one of the most intense sequences of the show.
- There is a shoot out in the Byers house that begins with one man shot at point blank range by what appears to be mercenaries and ends with multiple dead and 1 man taking a bullet to his side. All of the shootings are on screen with blood matter. Very intense and pretty bloody.
- billy is seen with multiple open wounds all over his body and face
- Vecna tries to snap crackle pop max, but it doesn't work.
- A woman is seen floating in the air! Then she snap crackle pops just like Chrissy and Fred.

- The final scene when Vecna is going to kill Max is very emotional and intense.
- Twice in this episode it shows a baby's rocker in a fire. A baby is heard screaming, implying that a baby is inside and being burned alive.
- A girl walks into a red mist and sees pale human corpses with alien tubes in their mouths. The same fate is threatened to her by another alien tube.
