- TriviaThe episode title is excerpted from a quote from Mary Shelley's novel 'Frankenstein' - "... it seems to me as if this [...] was the immediate suggestion of the guardian angel of my life--the last effort made by the spirit of preservation to avert the storm that was even then hanging in the stars and ready to envelop me [...]. It was a strong effort of the spirit of good, but it was ineffectual. Destiny was too potent..."

A valiant cause does not excuse juvenile writing
The writing for all the episodes was excellent up until this point. Sure, you want to talk about sensitive issues and you want to "change the world" as it were. But that doesn't mean you should allow the writing to devolve into something so disjointed and juvenile as to be unrecognisable. You are not doing the show, nor the cause, any justice here.
