PROPS to Nan Dutton-Sells and her team!!!
Whoever spotted Evan Elllingson, as the person to play Caine's son Kyle, is a genius. The kid is almost a "mini me" of David Caruso. I'm not one for "8 hours before" episodes, I like to guess what's coming on my own. But, even without the spoiler, you know the instant Kyle stands up and puts his hands on his hips that the two characters are related.
I have enjoyed how the writer's have given the character of Horatio the uncanny ability to sense family connections, i.e. The minute he saw his niece Madison for the first time back in season two.
I do question why the orders, on a 16 year old who left the woman he "kidnapped" alive, are "shoot to kill.?" I guess the writers wanted to add MORE drama in the last 5 minutes of the show. And it's interesting that a Lieutenant for MDPD has such pool with the Coast Guard. But then it is Television.
I look forward to seeing more Kyle episodes.
