A solid start.

Peripheral Vision is a pretty interesting start to the series finale. Two cases, one involving the discovery of a dead girl, the second a contested insurance case.

Traditional format, Harry occupied with one case, Nikki and Harry on the other. Harry and Nikki are both fighting for what's right, despite having obstacles placed in their oaths.

DI Phillip Mays is insufferable, very gruff, pretty racist, but an interesting character, the irritation that Nikki feels for him is evident. The pair will surely clash as the story develops.

No real standout for me, just generally well acted by all, this series has focused more on the crimes, and less on the personal lives. It's been pretty consistent.

A good start, 7/10.

Two Cases
Hitchcoc23 March 2019
The first case involves two sets of bones, young women who died within a couple months of each other. It brings people into gypsy camps that are squatting on public land. A man who has a reputation as a sex offender saw one of the girls the night she disappeared. The second case is an older woman who died in a fall. The insurance company is refusing to pay off her policy. They are tying the family in medical technicalities. Harry is in with the family, fighting for their rights.
