Make sure you're concentrating.

Harry works with an inexperienced, but keen Police Officer, to try and track down why a young teenager died, Leo and Nikki investigate two unexplained deaths.

Sometimes it can be a little hard to follow a story fully when there are two separate cases, that problem does apply here, only there are three cases being investigated, each of the three pathologists is in turn investigating a seemingly unconnected crime.

It's good telly, it's watchable, it's certainly dramatic, the ending comes as a massive surprise, and seemed a little bit unfair. The angst between Harry and Leo was interesting, as was the character play between Harry and the young Police Woman, arguably he was the best element here.

It's been years since I watched this, and if I'm honest, I didn't remember anything about it, that says it all, the previous two parter I remembered incredibly well, I hope part two is a little more cohesive.

6/10.

Several, Seemingly Non Related Cases

This is an interesting episode (First Half) because as the title indicates there are multiple terminated people. A young soccer star, a young mother of several children, a woman who works in a beauty parlor who is much older than she admits, and then a seeming surprise at the conclusion. This sets up quite a lot of work for the pathologists as the second half presents itself. I'm back in Nikki's court because they aren't trying to make her something she is not. I thought the last episode was pretty lame.

Sensitive, Moving Stories

Wonderful acting, superb writing and heartrending soundtrack. The way the stories interconnect with one another is very mesmerizing and engaging. The emotional content of this series goes wonderfully hand in hand with the professionality of the brilliant and very human pathologist team. I very much hope this amazing soundtrack will be made available on Spotify at some point. The haunting, moving beauty of the melodies very much enhance the feelings that come across as we observe how each character is affected by what is happening in the story, and how we are able to empathize with them. Wonderful work all around. Cheers and congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this heartfelt series.

Continuing a troublesome pattern
Once again the pathologists become police investigators, and better at it than some of the police who are portrayed as lugs just trying to close cases by conducting leading interviews and presupposing who's guilty. Also continuing is a storyline of multiple crimes, each involving one of the pathologists and different police staff. Multiple story lines allow the episode pace to keep moving even on thin depth. These stories continue to stray from the initial implied promise of Silent Witnesses.
