Vic finds a duck following him around. Sid finds that Fanny the cow is not giving milk. Only to be perturbed that Fanny needs artificial insemination.
Gerald Bromley-Jones is the neighbouring farmer who introduces himself to Vic and points out that some of the fences need mending. Sid also meets him by accidentally dropping manure on his car.
Sid and Vic find themselves trying to steal one of their cow's back from an unhappy Bromley-Jones.
Bill Pertwee makes an appearance as the policeman who likes a token of appreciation for keeping an eye out on his farmers.
