Sykes mixes with the toffs.
Charles Brown takes Eric along to the golf club, where he doesn't quite have all of the social niceties, things change when Eric reveals the source of his dinner suit.
A step up from the opening episode, this was a very amusing second outing. Class has always made a great subject for comedy, and it's used brilliantly here.
Charles is the eternal snob, Eric and Hattie are both a little rough around the edges, it's that clash that's so funny.
Roy Kinnear played this part so well, doesn't matter where he was, what show he was in, super funny, a prolific actor, physically funny, with great timing.
Favourite scene had to be Eric's multiple failings at The Golf club, including the scene with the lemon.
8/10.
