Helen gets the jitters about the engagement, and her son James returns home, he has a hard time dealing with the situation.
Not a bad second episode, but there is something that just isn't gelling, and maybe I've been able to put my finger on it, Keith's well known characters, Audrey and Margot, were both socially superior beings, upper class and stern, but underneath the harsh exteriors, both were well meaning, I'm not getting that vibe from Helen, she's almost hard to like, she's been through quite a lot, and she's almost blank faced, maybe that was the intention?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that acting, it is the standout feature, Keith is excellent Villiers and Solan are very good too, they bounced off one another well I thought.
Slow in parts, the story is interesting, but the laughs were very thin on the ground.
Not bad, 6/10.
