Jack Aylesbury: [watching TV] Oh, pass it up, for Christ's sake! Look at him. We're in for a bloody sight-seeing tour of Milan now. Get rid of it, man!
[the doorbell rings]
Pat Aylesbury: Who's that, for goodness sake?
[leaves the room]
Jack Aylesbury: Oh, give me a break! Why don't you just gift-wrap the ball and tie a ribbon on it for him?

Monday Mornings are never fine though, are they?
One foot in the Grave was really at a massive purple patch during Series 3, and the opener was excellent. Monday morning will be fine.
Victor's house has been burgled, and his neighbours assisted the robbers, offering them tea and biscuits. The theft of the TV leads Victor and Margaret to start going out more, but an encounter with Billy and Meg down the local, coupled with a few white lies sets of a chain of unfortunate events.
Victor's levels of annoyance and irritation have gone up another notch, and now Margaret's have as well, she's become just as irascible as Victor. The scene of them both sat at chairs staring at where the TV should be is very memorable. Margaret's reaction to Victor's fidgety behaviour is really funny, as is the Bird's nest.
Brilliantly funny 9/10
