A Park Prowler is causing problems, Walter is arrested and questioned on suspicion, Nellie sets about proving his innocence.
I did enjoy the humour here, it's a wonderfully ludicrous setup, and of course had some incredibly bonkers dialogue from Nellie, her scene with The Policeman is raucously funny. It's nice to see an episode set outside the confines of the house and pickle factory.
As the second half of the episode starts, you see Walter chatting to someone off screen, it's amazing to see Edward Malin switch into character.
Stan is wonderfully over the top here, from his larger than life antics to his hideous new outfit.
Lily is definitely becoming a more daring character, it's as if her pent up frustrations are all starting to come to the surface, she's becoming more flirtatious, more extroverted, Madge Hindle was very funny here.
Two very well known faces here, a very young David Bradley, and a very young Shirley Stelfox.
7/10.
