Michael drives KITT on the back of a truck. In the close-up he opens his door to get out. In the next shot we see him climbing out his window. Later we see Angie, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, opening the passenger's door. In the next shot, we see her getting out on the driver's side.
When KITT is "micro jamming" the helicopter, all the sounds go on and off. But with engine failure the helicopter goes into autorotation and the sounds of the main rotor and tail rotor would still be heard constantly.
The Bell JetRanger 206B III is piloted from the right seat, so the sign "Simulated Engine Failure Prohibited From Right Seat" does not make sense. The left seat would be the front PASSENGER.
The 'Nun X-19 assault rifle' is just a MAC-10 machine pistol in a frame. The MAC-10 fires pistol cartridges, and while it is conceivable that an assault rifle may be based upon a machine pistol, the magazine of the Nun X-19 is of pistol cartridge size, and a cartridge the size of a pistol cartridge is too small to be used in an assault rifle since assault rifles are used for longer ranges.
When K.I.T.T. performs donuts while rescuing Michael from the warehouse, many pre-existing tire marks are visible, either from practicing or earlier takes.
Right after the helicopter chase scene, K.I.T.T.'s tires more than once screech on the dirt road.
In the Mill Creek Blu-Ray release of this episode, during the helicopter chase, there are two momentary shots of the instrument panel of the helicopter, in which are clearly visible two adhesive labels placed on the panel. They read: "SIMULATED ENGINE FAILURE" and, just below, "PROHIBITED FROM RIGHT SEAT." These are clearly notes to the stunt pilot who would perform for the filming, and possibly to the actor or double who was to be filmed in the helicopter. In this episode, KITT used its electronic jammer to disrupt the helicopter's systems, after which the helicopter is seen to become unstable and erratic. The above notes to the pilot of the helicopter were obviously used during the filming, but never meant to be seen by the viewing audience.
While at the wedding, a truck approaches with gunmen. KITT comes into the scene and takes a number of shots from the gunmen. The "squibs" for the bullets are clearly visible along the passenger side of KITT before the bullets hit the car.
During the aerial view shots of the Astrodome the filming helicopter's main rotor blades are visible at the top of the screen.
Surrounding cars mostly have California license plates even though this is supposed to be in Texas.
