- April Curtis: [to Garthe] You might as well know what I think about you and your destiny. Your destiny is to never have a woman who wants you for yourself. Never have a man who respects you for what you are. Your destiny is death. And if you don't believe me just go take a good look in the mirror. There are holes where your eyes should be. And behind them there's nothing but blackness.
- Michael Knight: Alright, Kitt, lets try April's new device.
- K.I.T.T.: Michael, I have serious reservations about this.
- Michael Knight: Hang on buddy, and get ready to make like a bird!
- Michael Knight: You got me. That's what you want, isn't it?
- Garthe Knight: Yes! But I want you to suffer in every way imaginable. My possession of Devon Miles and April Curtis causes you great anguish. How could I possibly deny myself that pleasure?
- Michael Knight: KITT, can you hear me?
- KITT: Michael, is that you?
- Michael Knight: Yeah. You okay?
- KITT: No, I'm not okay. I'm nowhere near okay. Most of my functions are out of order, and I'm being treated like a side of beef.
- [KITT's rear wheels have been hoisted up, in effect disabling the car beyond even KITT's capabilities]
- Michael Knight: Where are you?
- KITT: In the garage, and it's not a pleasant experience.
- Michael Knight: I'm not exactly in the Palace Hotel either. Don't worry, we'll get out of this.
- KITT: I certainly hope so. Police impound would be preferable to the company I'm forced to keep now.
- [it's old juggernaut Goliath]
- Michael Knight: I sure hope that's the last we see of Garthe and Goliath.
- KITT: So do I, Michael.
- [KITT makes a truck horn honk that sounds like Goliath]
- Michael Knight: What's that?
- KITT: I recorded it as a souvenir.
- Michael Knight: Oh! Oh! Oh! That's very funny. Yes, that's very funny. As a matter of fact, I have a little surprise for you, too.
- KITT: Please, no cliffs. Do you hear me?
- [Michael accelerates]
- KITT: Michael, I'm serious.
- [he accelerates faster]
- KITT: Michael.
- Adrianne St. Clair: [in swimming pool, wearing leopard-print string bikini] Oh, such passion. Is it me you love, or your freedom?
- Garthe Knight: [in that big husky voice] Only a fool would answer that question.
- [kisses her again with all the passion of a man long cooped up in jail]
- Garthe Knight: You have exquisite tastes, Adrienne. How much is this costing me?
- Adrianne St. Clair: I broke you out of prison. Don't talk to me about dollars and cents.
- Garthe Knight: [grunts] Goliath broke me out of prison.
- Adrianne St. Clair: And *I* rebuilt Goliath. Resurrected him from a burnt-out shell in the desert. Just as I directed this project from the beginning. Never forget that.
- [breaks away]
- Garthe Knight: [as Adrianne stands toweling herself] The dungeon. Is it as I requested?
- Adrianne St. Clair: Exactly.
- Garthe Knight: Our last encounter wasn't a defeat, it was merely a temporary setback. I will succeed this time. It is my destiny.
- Devon Miles: Your destiny is self-destruction.
- Garthe Knight: Destruction, yes. But Michael Knight's, not mine.
- Michael Knight: [Devon's office has been wrecked] Alright, Devon. Another one of your wild toga parties, huh?
- Devon Miles: That is not very funny, Michael.
- Garthe Knight: [to Adrianne] So cold and so ruthless. Did I ever tell you you remind me of my mother?
- Michael Knight: You okay? You're awful quiet.
- Christina Bergstrom: Oh, I'm sorry. You know, I havent even thanked you for rescuing me from that... uh... that...
- KITT: Masquerading, misanthropic Klaus clone.
- Christina Bergstrom: Exactly.
- Michael Knight: You don't have to thank me. I just wanna make sure you'd be available for dinner after this is all over.
- Christina Bergstrom: *If* it's over. I'm so afraid I won't be seeing Uncle Klaus again.
- Michael Knight: You will, Christina. If it's humanly possible, I promise you... You will.
- Garthe Knight: [holding Adrianne forcibly by the neck and shouting into her face] It's about time you understand that my life does not revolve around you. It was my will that forced you to break me out of prison. It was my brilliance that resurrected Goliath. And it was my planning that captured Michael Knight.
- Devon Miles: April, do you know a way to switch off this key light and then turn it on again?
- April Curtis: Hmm, I think a bobbypin should do the trick.
- Devon Miles: Good.
- KITT: [having just made use of his new parachute attachment] I'd rather be turned into a toaster oven than go through this again.
- April Curtis: I thought you were in prison.
- Adrianne St. Clair: Prison? Perish the thought. I have the best lawyers that money can buy. And they bought the best judge that money can buy. Isn't it fascinating the friends we have in common in such a small world.
- Devon Miles: Garthe Knight is no friend. Even you should know that.
- Adrianne St. Clair: Poor Garthe. People say such nasty things about him. But such good things about Michael Knight. I'm beginning to wonder if he's really flesh and blood. I look forward to finding out for myself.
- [Garthe doesn't share her enthusiasm]
- Adrianne St. Clair: [to Garthe] So, the elusive Michael Knight is at large. Too bad. In the meantime... have any idea how to pass a quiet afternoon?
- Christina Bergstrom: I won't pretend that I have any idea what's going on. All I know is that Uncle Klaus is in danger.
- [shakes her head]
- Christina Bergstrom: And I trust you. So, if you think it's important, I'll do it.
- Michael Knight: Don't worry about the big city. You're gonna be okay.
- Adrianne St. Clair: Very good. I love a man who can do two things at once. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who couldn't sleep tonight. It's a pity. I love to watch men sleep.
- [sighs]
- Adrianne St. Clair: I like to fantasize what they're dreaming about... or who.
- Michael Knight: [impatiently] Why don't you just get to the point?
- Adrianne St. Clair: One point at a time, Michael. You know what I'm talking about. Those feelings that you get when you dream about somebody in the romantic sense. Somebody you might not have even thought about in weeks. It puts you in a kind of *mood* for the rest of the day. Those are the kind of dreams I've been having about you, Michael. Only, I've been having them almost every night since we last met. It made my mood *very strong*.
- [tries to caress Michael's face, but he slaps her hand away]
- Michael Knight: What does Garthe think of those moods?
- Adrianne St. Clair: He fits in a *different* mood. You see, I'm a woman of varied tastes.
- [shakes her head]
- Adrianne St. Clair: It's amazing... the resemblance between you and Garthe. Like flip sides of a coin... opposites to the core... one good, one evil. I'm curious to see which one I'll prefer.
- Michael Knight: What are you talking about?
- Adrianne St. Clair: I'm talking about you... your future. Will it be life or death? If it's left up to Garthe alone, it will be death. Fortunately for you, it's not up to him alone. If you please me, I may have you spared. You see, once Garthe and I conclude our project tomorrow, I'll have more money than I could ever possibly spend alone.
- [adding softly:]
- Adrianne St. Clair: I'll need some help.
- Michael Knight: I'm sure Garthe will give you all the help you need in that department... *if* you succeed.
- Adrianne St. Clair: Oh, we *will* succeed. The question is, will you succeed in staying alive?
- [she tries to kiss him, but he pulls his head away]
- Adrianne St. Clair: Kiss me, Michael. Convince me that you're worth saving.
- Michael Knight: Do psychologists pray?
- Christina Bergstrom: I do. Why?
- Michael Knight: Make it a good one.
- [off in pursuit]
