- TriviaThe story in this episode takes place in and around Houston, Texas, which at the time had a population around 1,150,000.. A little over fifty years later (2018) the city's population was estimated to have grown to 2,464,000.
- GoofsWhen David fights with the alien in the tanker, he throws the camera at him, and then leaves without retrieving the camera. Surely that film would be more immediate evidence than what was on the tape. And even if the camera broke he would have taken it with him when he left.

[DVD introduction]
Roy Thinnes: This time David Vincent sees an alien ship land in a railroad yard. After it leaves, he sneaks into a train compartment, which is being used by the aliens and takes a mysterious computer tape that could be what he needs most of all: actual proof of the alien invasion. Our guest stars include Ed Begley, a great character actor, and Ed Begley, Jr.'s, dad; and Norman Fell, who was later Mr. Roper on "Three's Company". First aired March 28th, 1967, this episode: "The Betrayed".
It is funny that these really advanced aliens use a tape backup storage system for their computers, but back in 1967 many other types of storage media weren't even developed yet. Overall an other interesting episode...one that show David is best just staying single!
