Did you know
- TriviaWilliam Frawley and Charles Winninger really were veteran vaudevillians, each having played on the stage, in the early 1900's.
- GoofsIn the production number ("I Found a Peach on the Beach") at the end of the nightclub act, Lucy and Ethel are singing a line with the words, "We'll make a peach of a pair". On the last repeat of this line, the arrangement calls for them to leave out the last word ("pair'), as the music changes for a brief dance step. Ethel (Vivian Vance) remembers only at the last minute, and begins to sing the word anyway.

Barney Kurtz: [two strangers meet in the Atlantic City sketch at the Tropicana] Well, hello!
Fred Mertz: Hello, stranger. Well, are you here for the convention?
Barney Kurtz: For the Dairyman's Convention.
Fred Mertz: Good for you. I'm from, uh, Wisconsin.
Barney Kurtz: And I am from Illinois, sir.
Fred Mertz: Good. That's a mighty nice part of the country.
Barney Kurtz: What hotel you stopping at?
Fred Mertz: Hotel? I'm only gonna be here three days!

Fine 1st Half - Unwatchable 2nd half
The first half of the episode is perfectly enjoyable, typical Lucy fare with Lucy playing maid to Ethel and Fred. But the second half with the horrible musical act is among the worst segments in the entire series. Once has to imagine the fictional Tropical audience was wildly disappointed to pay money to see Ricky Ricardo and getting these four amateurs / hasbeens doing this hacky material.
