Capt. Anthony Nelson: [after a fight with Jeannie] You know, we have a custom on this planet called 'kiss and make up'.

Capt. Anthony Nelson: I'm truly sorry. I'll never accuse you of anything like that again.

Billy Mumy as the boy who cried wolf
"Whatever Became of Baby Custer?" guest stars popular child actor Billy Mumy, then beginning his three year run on the CBS series LOST IN SPACE, in a 'boy who cried wolf' scenario. Young Custer Jamison (Mumy), a great fan of Captain Nelson, catches Tony and Jeannie floating in the air, then sees Jeannie blinking into a puff of smoke. Dr. Bellows is quite pleased to listen to Custer, and for the first time hears about Tony's mysterious girlfriend. Unfortunately, both get caught looking through Tony's window by a passing police officer: "first time I've seen a peeping tom giving on the job training!" Every time Custer sees Tony float the doctor isn't looking, and when the boy disappears Tony fears that Jeannie has done something terrible to him. This was the last of 11 episodes shot during Barbara Eden's pregnancy, all completed well before the show debuted on Sept 18 1965, which covered every broadcast through the end of November (this accounts for the many veils she wore in these early entries, successfully hiding her secret from the viewing audience).
