Classic comedy.
Sykes heads to Switzerland for a well earned break,
and after a troublesome journey, he finds she has to share a hotel room.
It's a really funny early episode, plenty of laughs, and quite a few reminders of just how good the missing episodes surely are. I'm just very grateful that this one survives.
Favourite scene, seeing Hancock and his new room mate fighting over the bed, classic Kenny.
Hancock is wonderful, it cannot be argued with, what a terrific performer, I've only seen the later episodes, if I'm honest I'd say he looks a lot more self assured in this earlier offering.
It's strange not seeing Sid James present, but there is an incredible supporting cast, many of Sid's fellow Carry on stars are here, look out for Liz Fraser, June Whitfield, Richard Wattis and of course the magical, wonderful Kenneth Williams.
8/10.
