Stephanie is paranoid about her first day of school. Everyone tries to reassure her to no avail. Jesse, Joey & Dad, Danny all try to calm Stephanie down, and reassure her that school is OK. Meanwhile, D.J is caught trying to hightail it over the fence by her dad. Danny calms down D.J, and it's the sisters who end up reassuring each other. (Stephanie & D.J) I don't really remember my first day at school. I do know I enjoyed Kindergarten to a certain extent, but don't remember much about it. I do empathize with D.J's complaints. I was devastated when I found out my best friend wouldn't be in the same class as me. It's really hard to be in a class with people you don't know. I felt this episode explored that issue very well with the limited time they had. This is also Kenny's first appearance on this show. She would become a fixture for this show. She certainly had her moments of entertainment. Favorite moment of this show has to be Joey's shower outfit. He's in a life jacket, swimwear, and goggles. Jesse's comment "The most terrifying shower scene since Psycho" was hilarious. It also has outdated themes, such as Jettison's & Barbie lunch boxes. This was done in 1987 after all. This episode is great, and shows that you shouldn't be afraid to take a risk, try new things, or be worried over things you can't control
