- Alternate versionsThis episode originally began with a custom rendition of the theme song, which sounds like a marching band or small orchestra is performing it. The version available for download at iTunes replaces this with the standard theme song.

One of the best episodes...
A lot of people criticize this episode for being too "fanciful", but I don't think those people actually understand the genius of Daria.
That's about all I have to say, but I wouldn't want to "pad my comment with junk words", so, I'll go over the episode synopsis. The episode starts with the announcement of a hurricane advisory by the local weatherman, a spot-on caricature of Al Roker, and a rousing musical number by the Morgendorffer family.
Then we arrive in the gym, where Ms. Li announces that the big football game is cancelled, and that the hurricane advisory has been elevated to a hurricane warning. Cue the next number.
Daria and Jane, who had retreated to the roof to escape the Spirit Day festivities, become trapped on the roof with Kevin and Brittany. They retreat to a shed to escape the ensuing storm. Will they survive?
Will there be another song?
Will Daria and Tom DO IT!?
Oh wait, I don't think we've met Tom yet...oh well.
