- With new video camera in hand, Cliff and assistant Norm are hired by a man named Peter to videotape his parents' 50th-wedding-anniversary celebrate to be held at Cheers. Halfway through the proceedings, the camera's battery dies and Cliff has no alternate power supply. Norm wants Cliff to tell Peter, but Cliff continues "filming" anyway. Meanwhile, Frasier has a new temporary secretary, 21-year-old Shauna, who directly, unabashedly hits on him; on Sam's urging, Frasier takes her up on her offer of Sunday dinner at her house. Frasier is nervous about what seems like a sure thing. The evening doesn't end up quite how he imagined, but forced to stay until the end, he ultimately makes the most of it.—Huggo
- Peter has chosen Cheers as the place to celebrate his parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Cliff meanwhile, has arrived at the bar with a brand-new video camera he bought, and makes a deal with Peter to videotape the event. Peter offers to pay Cliff $50 to do so, and Norm is dragged along to help Cliff as well.
The party starts out well, but Norm is shocked when the battery runs out, and Cliff does not have a spare, nor a power cord to plug the camera into a wall outlet! Fearful of the consequences, Cliff recommends they pretend to keep filming...growing further and further shocked when Peter's father confesses for the first time how much he loves his family, a relative comes clear around the world to be there, and Peter's mother rises from her wheelchair to tentatively take a few steps. It is then that Cliff decide with Norm there's only one thing to do: run!
Frasier meanwhile, has noticed that his young, temporary secretary Shauna seems to be hitting on him. When she offers to make him dinner, he accepts (at the insistence of his friends). However, he is surprised when he finds that she lives at home with her family, and soon finds himself to be nothing more than a pawn in her plans to get back together with her old boyfriend Rick, whose manner and tastes are despised by her family. Frasier attempts to leave, but Shauna's mother insists that he stay, with Frasier ending the night playing games with the family.
