Just before Carla starts describing the "death dream", a man is seated at the bar in front of her, back to the camera, wearing a gray sweater. As she starts describing the dream, in shots towards the end of the bar where Frasier and Norm are seated, the profile of a woman's face is seen on the right edge of the screen. By the end of the scene, wide shots reveal a woman now seated at the bar with a drink, when nobody has served her. A few seconds later, as Sam drags Carla out of the bar, nobody is sitting there.
While filming the exterior shot of the Melville's canopy out in front of Cheers, a group of spectators can be seen standing in the middle of the road watching the filming.
