- TriviaCarroll O'Conner, who played Tom Slayden, would go on to star as Archie Bunker in the iconic TV series "All in the Family", the continuing series "Archie Bunker's Place, and then as Sparta Police Chief Bill Gillespie in the TV series "In the Heat of the NIght" based on the 1967 film of the same name.
- GoofsLate in the show, "stock" or "other" footage from a previous episode was used when Adam shot one of Slayden's men (Mike) off the top of a big rock. There is also a "continuity" issue... the stunt man was not wearing the same clothes and hat as Mike before he climbed up the big rock. Lastly, when the stunt man "hit the ground" below, the hidden "air bag" bounced up.

Archie couldn't save it
This was a so-so episode. I thought it might have been much better having the great Carrol O'Connor as the main guest star, but it was a little disappointing. After watching All in the Family for all these years he seemed a little miscast. His part as a mean and greedy businessman seemed out of place. Anyway it was a way to pass an hour I guess.
