- TriviaDuring the canteen scene George Garfield makes a comment to Eddie Santini about how he was slow to react to save a young woman who had taken dangerous pills because she was HIV positive and "your first thought was for your own safety."
This may have been a callback to the series 6 episode Pride and Prejudice (1990) where George was concerned for his own health and safety after having been in contact with a HIV positive man whom he helped save from a burning car. The episode ended with George having learned his prejudice was unfounded and following Bob Cryer's lead, shook the man's hand.

A great story for Reg.
Reg is up for his commendation, George and Eddie attend a pharmacist, who's been burgled.
It's quite similar to the previous episode, only the pendulum swings very much the other way, with he majority now siding with The Sun Hill stalwart, as opposed to the feisty Italian.
Good episode, the way Stewart played Reg here, highlighting his feelings of guilt, was really rather good, it's been his biggest storyline for some time.
I really enjoyed the side story, the burglary at The Pharmacy, it was well executed.
I'm not sure when or where, but I remember an episode where George Garfield was a little scared of dealing with a man who had HIV some time ago, this had a poignant feel.
8/10.
