- Jack Bristow: [Sydney watched Jack pull out gun and aim it at her; she realizes it was a bottle of water] What is it?
- Sydney Bristow: Dad... Do we have any tranquilizers?
- Jack Bristow: No...
- Sydney Bristow: Then I think you better tie me up.
- Jack Bristow: [to Andre] I'll only say that if you choose not to cooperate with us, you'll regret that decision for the rest of your life.
- Andre Sterescu: [Sydney has delusion of watching Andre load his gun, wonders why Jack and Vaughn aren't doing anything] It's too bad for you, because you're dying too.
- [He shoots himself in the head in her delusion]
- Andre Sterescu: [Sydney takes in a deep breath]
- Michael Vaughn: Vaughn:
- [to Sydney]
- Michael Vaughn: You alright?
- Sydney Bristow: I'm going to be alright, aren't I?
- Jack Bristow: Of course you will.
- Sydney Bristow: What if we can't make it stop?
- Jack Bristow: Shh... Don't talk... You can't imagine how much I hate it, when you talk.
- Sydney Bristow: What?
- Jack Bristow: The reason I killed your mother, I had a desperate need to make her voice stop ringing in my ears. What torments me now is that every time I look at you, I see your mothers face.
- Sydney Bristow: No... that's... that's not true, that's not.
- Jack Bristow: Sydney, listen to me, this is all going to pass.
- Sydney Bristow: Help! Help! Anybody! Help!
- [Vaughn runs after her, finds her in an alley]
- Sydney Bristow: My father...
- [Vaughn sees Jack passed out in alley]
- Sydney Bristow: I think...
- Michael Vaughn: Sydney, what did you do?
- Sydney Bristow: [Crying] I think I killed him.
- Marcus Dixon: [to Sloan] I'd have said this earlier, but when I get done, it's likely; you'll have me relieved of my position. And I didn't want that to happen while Sydney was in the field. I've asked myself, countless times, why I never saw the true nature of SD-6. For a while I punished myself, over it, finally I realized, my only failure was that of imagination. Despite all the evil I'd encountered, I never imagined a person could exist, someone as thoroughly toxic as yourself. I won't make that mistake again. You want us to believe that you've reformed? That for the love of your daughter, you've decided to listen to the better angels of your nature. Arvin, let's be honest, you don't have any. And on that inevitable day, when your true motive reveals itself, I promise you, I'll be there. I'll be waiting.
- Arvin Sloane: Sydney, you listening? Its working isn't it? Bit by bit. I'm wearing down your defenses. I'm gaining your trust.
- [Sloane moves from TV and replaces Vaughn]
- Arvin Sloane: But we both know that at some point I'll betray you, and the people that you care most deeply about, they'll die.
- [Sloan turns back into Vaughn as the delusion ends]
- Michael Vaughn: Syd, you ok?
- Jack Bristow: Sydney, look at me, breathe in and out, that's right. That's right, just breathe, good. Now look in my eyes, they're the last thing you'll ever see.
- Sydney Bristow: No...
- Jack Bristow: Sydney, I'm here with you.
- [pauses, we see Vaughn searching for the antidote]
- Jack Bristow: Sydney, look at me. Breathe! Your mother killed me, just like I'm going to kill you.
- Sydney Bristow: I won't let you.
- Jack Bristow: How are you going to stop me? You're tied up.
- [Sydney starts to cry]
- Jack Bristow: Sydney! I'm here with you; no one's going to harm you. I won't let anything happen to you.
- Sydney Bristow: Daddy.
- Jack Bristow: I'm here Sydney.
- Sydney Bristow: Will you hug me?
- Jack Bristow: Of course I will. It's ok.
- [Sydney head butts him and knocks him to the ground]
- Jack Bristow: Sydney! No!
- Sydney Bristow: [Vaughn and Sydney are playing hockey] You were a chick magnet right?
- Michael Vaughn: Actually, my first face off I ever took as a center, I got knocked right on my ass. The other teams' center was like this 15 year old 6 foot 2 bearded, actually probably on steroids, now that I think about it. Finally there was 12 seconds left; we're down by a goal. I had my teeth kicked in so many times; I said you know what screw it. I just stopped caring. I won the draw, skated around him, moved in for the shot...
- Sydney Bristow: You tied the game
- Michael Vaughn: Nah, I hit the post.
- [pauses]
- Michael Vaughn: But I did learn something about how we can let fear get in the way. Syd, I know you want to take things slow, but what are you afraid of?
- [Both of their cell's ring]
- Sydney Bristow: [Sydney shows Vaughn her bandage over her bite marks] Oh, you think it's sexy don't you?
- Michael Vaughn: Only if I'd done it
- Michael Vaughn: What if I don't find anything?
- Jack Bristow: Let's not discuss that here.
- [Another delusion begins]
- Jack Bristow: Sydney's not as trust worthy as her mother.
- Michael Vaughn: I know
- Jack Bristow: I'm going to kill her just like I did Irina
- Michael Vaughn: Good
- Michael Vaughn: [Sydney pulls gun on Vaughn] What are you doing?
- Sydney Bristow: Get... get down, on your knees.
- Michael Vaughn: Sydney, its Michael. I've got the antidote, its right here in this bag.
- Sydney Bristow: Don't lie to me.
- Michael Vaughn: Oh Sydney... Sydney, listen to me.
- Sydney Bristow: Put your hands up. Now! I know what this is; this is a game to you, a cruel joke at my expense.
- Michael Vaughn: What's a game?
- Sydney Bristow: You and me. Admit it.
- Michael Vaughn: No, Sydney... Sydney, listen to me. What are you scared of?
- Sydney Bristow: I am scared. I'm scared you're going to betray me, again. Like you did when you married Lauren.
- Michael Vaughn: Sydney, I would never... ever hurt you
- Sydney Bristow: Stop, stop right there.
- Michael Vaughn: You need to give me the gun alright...
- Sydney Bristow: I said stop.
- Michael Vaughn: Just give me the gun.
- [Sydney pulls trigger, gun is unloaded, Sydney and Vaughn fight]
- Michael Vaughn: Sydney, don't do this.
- [more fighting]
- Michael Vaughn: Sydney, don't do this.
- [Sydney bites Vaughn]
- Jack Bristow: No...
- [Jack places Sydney in choke hold and knocks her out]
- Michael Vaughn: You took the bullets out.
- Jack Bristow: Seemed a reasonable precaution
- Sydney Bristow: Hey
- Michael Vaughn: Hey
- Sydney Bristow: Vaughn, what I said to you, what I did...
- Michael Vaughn: Syd, you weren't yourself
- Sydney Bristow: No...
- [They kiss]
- Sydney Bristow: [Sydney see spider on the bed, Vaughn picks it up and moves it to the ground]
- Michael Vaughn: My father liked spiders; he said they were good luck
- Sydney Bristow: I've never heard that.
