The producer of Resident Evil 5 has denied reports that the game has been toned down following allegations of racism. Newsweek writer N'Gai Croal slammed Capcom's trailer for the release, noting that it featured only black zombies. He claimed: "There was a lot of imagery in that trailer that dovetailed with classic racist imagery."
