When Turner's wheelchair slips off the ramp and the wheel sinks in the sand, longer shots show the wheel only sunken in the sand up to the tire, while close-ups show the tire covered and the sand up to the rim.
In the retro scene where Mitch visits Turner in the hospital, while they're talking to each other, Mitch has his hands on Turners right arm. In the shots made over Mitch's shoulder, there are no hands visible, but the arm can be seen clearly.
When Caroline comes to say good-bye to Eddie and Shauni and tells them she's moving back to Ohio, she bends her left arm behind her. In the next shot, it's hanging at her side again.
In the flashback, when Mitch comes into Turner's hospital room, the nurse goes from Turner's bed to the door a little too quickly.
When Mitch disconnects Turner from glider, it's clearer not Mitch or Turner's arm.
Caroline has no reason to lie to her father or to the police, and because this lie ruins her life, she's really highly motivated to tell them the truth. Nothing that happens after that makes any sense, because her actions are totally irrational.
