The CW is pushing further into the unscripted realm with an order for a true crime series.
The network will debut Crime Nation, a 10-episode show from Candle True Stories and executive produced by former ABC News president James Goldston, in early 2024. The series will delve into several recent high-profile cases, including the Delphi murders, the Lori Vallow Daybell case and the Gilgo Beach murders, promising new details on each via a combination of expert analysis, new reporting and previously unaired interviews.

It looks like the ratings for The CW's new Saturday night series weren't good enough for the network. Recipe for Disaster has been pulled from the network schedule, so it looks unlikely to be renewed for a second season.
A cooking competition series, the Recipe for Disaster TV show is hosted by Ann Pornel with Eden Grinshpan and Chef Shahir Massoud serving as judges. The competition pits three professional chefs and their novice friend assistants against each other to prepare spectacular dishes under absurdly adverse conditions. Each episode, the studio is transformed into a bizarre new world, filled with themed disasters that challenge the chefs in ways they never imagined. For example, the contestants attempt the perfect sear while stuck on a "sinking cruise ship" during a tropical storm, try their hand at risotto while bouncing in baby...

Anyone who’s accused Tori (Amber Skye Noyes) of being a buzz kill might be eating their words after tonight’s episode of Beauty and the Beast when she proved with her life that noble acts are not beyond her realm of thinking. There’s no doubt that fans who rallied behind Cat’s (Kristen Kreuk) new romance with Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are shuttering after the events of Recipe for Disaster left Tori dead (at the hands of long-time beast hunters) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) back on the market. Now that he’s no longer under the influence of overpowering pheromones, it’s only a matter of time before he starts thinking clearly once again – and we all know where that will lead him.

"Beauty and the Beast" is bringing trouble to Vincent and Tori in the upcoming episode, "Recipe for Disaster." An exclusive photo from Monday's (Feb. 3) episode makes it look like Tori might even die.
Is this a possibility? Check out the photo for yourself to decide.
In the photo, Tori (Amber Skye Noyes) lies on a slab -- in a cage? -- while Vincent (Jay Ryan) stands next to her with a frightened look on his face. Is Tori hurt? Could she be in danger of death in "Recipe for Disaster"?
Only the episode will have the answers. Other problems in this "Beauty and the Beast" episode occur when bad guys kidnap J.T. (Austin Basis), requiring Cat (Kristin Kreuk) to team up with Vincent. FBI Agent Dana Landon (Elisabeth Rohm) gets a blast from her past when a stranger (Tom Everett Scott) is rescued with J.T.

You know the drill. A couple of days ago I hit you with Chapter One of this unranked list of my favorite films from 2013. Now I’m back with Chapter Two. Whether or not this will serve as the conclusion to my list remains to be seen. I keep remembering titles I saw earlier in the year that demand inclusion, so we’ll see how it goes. Either way, here are some more movies from 2013 that you should put in your eyeballs. If you missed Chapter One of this list, you can reference it, here.

You know, the usual. After being thwarted at every turn in his attempts to be Pm Alex finally has his chance when Lord Sugar categorically singles him out and says “Done deal!” Nobody dares argue with that. On Evolve Luisa shies away from the job, obviously still smarting from the criticism she took last week, and it’s between Neil and Francesca, so Luisa has the deciding vote.
