By switching from first person view to third person view, the player character, Anne, is revealed to be only made up of her breasts and right arm. The guns she carries on her back or in her holster are actually just floating around her.
The plaque at Henry Wu's pool reads:
"WELCOME TO MY OOL
NOTICE THERE'S NO P IN IT"
The small, barely readable text under it reveals a more vulgar message:
"Please take a shower before entering the pool. If you don't, I will kick your ass first, and ask questions later. That be the Law asshole. If you don't like it, you can get the fuck out of my house. No exceptions......! Thank you."
The Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) appears in an inaccessible part of the third level. By using cheat codes to teleport outside the level's boundary next to the Monolith, music similar to the eerie humming portion of György Ligeti's Requiem starts playing.
Originally, the dinosaurs were designed to have a wide range of emotions and respond to their surroundings realistically. However, due to faulty programming, this lead to them switching through their emotions too quickly, becoming permanently stuck in indecisiveness. So, to make the game playable, the developers turned all emotions other than "hunger" and "aggression" to zero, and turned those remaining two to the max. This is why all of the predatory dinosaurs are constantly trying to kill other dinosaurs and the player. However, there are a handful of raptors in level 3 (one around the middle of the dried-up riverbed near the beginning, and some others at the end of the canyon) whose emotions the developers forgot to set, thus they are the only enemy dinosaurs in the entire game that don't try to attack the player on sight.
Despite what the game's summary claims, dinosaurs can not enter buildings. This feature was disabled because they kept getting stuck between objects in confined spaces. Certain game mods allow the raptors to jump, which can let them enter buildings, and they are also able to go through open doors or missing walls, but this causes them to distort or in some cases die from being stuck between objects.
