Brandon nation turned things upside down.
Brandon Page thought he controlled the city, and on All Rise Season 3 Episode 10, his followers controlled the courthouse, leaving two lives in balance.
The Smash and Grab case proved how dangerous social media is when used for cult purposes.
The overwhelming chaos on All Rise Season 3 Episode 9 caught up to Teddy and Mark when Teddy wrote the wrong Hernandez sister's name on the search warrant.
The Feds and Da Bravo breathing down his neck made Mark's job even more demanding. He needed to prove to Lola she made the right choice giving him the case.
Mark took the heat for the mistake, never incriminating Teddy. However, when Teddy offered to resign, Mark wouldn't let him and ordered him to find more evidence proving that Brandon was guilty.
Poor Teddy was so nervous. He hated having Mark mad at him. He and Sara...

[Note about spoilers: As with the Complete Doctor Who Reviews, the individual (and two-parter) episode reviews form part of an overview of the show as a whole, and as such, contain spoilers for events not only in the episodes in question, but also potentially those in future episodes and seasons. There may also be spoilers for the Buffy spin-off show Angel.]
Welcome to another set of complete reviews in which I attempt to prattle on about two of the most famous Joss Whedon creations: Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) and Angel (1999-2004).
On the surface of it, a TV series franchise stemming from a so-so movie about a teenage girl who stakes vampires doesn't inspire much confidence. In 1992, the film, Buffy The Vampire Slayer pitted Kristy Swanson as the eponymous heroine against a mean old vampire king called Lothos and his motley crew of blood-sucking fiends. The movie didn't exactly set the world ablaze, staked by lukewarm reviews and moderate box office takings.
Writer Joss Whedon was nothing if not persistent though. Translating the original concept to the small screen was something of a gamble, given the tepid reactions to the preceding film. How could it possibly work?
And yet, sixteen years later, Buffy is still a huge phenomenon. Seven seasons were produced.

Meet Olive Barrymore Kopelman! It’s been nine weeks since Drew Barrymore gave birth and now we finally get our first glimpse at her baby girl, Olive. Drew married art consultant Will Kopelman last June – and her dream has finally come true as the pair have their very own family. “I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid. Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family … it makes me so emotional because it’s like a miracle” the 37-year-old gushed to People magazine. Having a baby of her own has always been a dream of Drew’s – but being a new mom definitely comes with highs and lows. “You have the highest highs and yet you’re facing the biggest fear of, ‘How do I keep someone alive?’” she tells the mag. Seems like Barrymore and Kopelman are definitely getting the hang of parenthood – Olive even has a favorite lullaby.

You should probably help Degrassi win the Best High School Show Ever Competition. You should probably do that.
Previously on Degrassi, Clare's No Good Very Bad Totally Horrible Life was—you guessed it—no good, very bad, and pretty damn totally horrible. She's out kissing losers and getting wasted and insulting everyone within earshot, so you can guess that this is all about to crash and burn worse than a hearse. Part Two!
Eli is getting really excited about throwing a surprise 17th birthday party when Fiona Coyne has what's probably the best Degrassi line of Season 12: Fiona doesn't even know Clare, why in the frozen turkey hell would she throw a party for her? Eli says that he'll pay her to do it and that shuts Fiona up. Alli feels like this is the perfect time to remind Eli about the time Asher Shostak smushed his girlfriend, except...

For their 5th annual event, which is set to run Sept. 8-11, the Sydney Underground Film Festival is looking a little more demented than ever. And that’s saying a lot for this scrappy, still relatively young fest, which typically offers ample twisted cinematic offerings.
The fun kicks off with the Opening Night film, the demented superhero comedy Super, written and directed by former Troma go-to screenwriter James Gunn (Tromeo & Juliet); then ends with the Closing Night wallowing in Sydney’s seedy underbelly, X, by homegrown filmmaker Jon Hewitt.
Crammed between these two excursions into violence and depravity is a lineup filled with perverse visions, scandalous public figures, sickening horror, experimental pop culture remixes and more.
For Bad Lit: The Journal of Underground Film, the highlight of the fest is Usama Alshaibi‘s Profane, a complex psychological, psychosexual, spiritual morality play about a Muslim sex worker who endures a “reverse...

Michael Moriarty, who starred in such classic films as Who’ll Stop the Rain and Pale Rider, exiled himself to Canada in 1995, following a nasty confrontation with U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno in a Washington, D.C. hotel room. Moriarty was invited along with network television executives and producers to hear Reno’s views on censorship of TV violence. Law and Order, one of the least violent shows on television, was cited as a major offender. Incensed by Reno's campaign to “forcibly end violence on television and trample on rights of free expression as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution,” Moriarty quit the series and left the U.S. in protest. He has been a landed immigrant in Canada ever since. Why the fateful encounter with Reno led to a radical (and seemingly overnight) transformation of Moriarty’s...

There was magic in the air Wednesday night at American Idol. The judges waved their hyperbole-filled wands and turned “good/decent/atrocious” into “amazing,” “revolutionary,” and “perfect in every way.” Nigel Lythgoe reached into his hat and pulled out a gaggle of screaming groupies for Scotty McCreery. And Gwen Stefani used some dark-sided voodoo (aka her L.A.M.B. “fashion” line) to transform the gorgeous Pia Toscano into a bowl of lumpy mashed potatoes.
But let’s not dwell on the judges; if they’re determined to be the beige eggshell paint of season 10, then by all means, they can fade into the background!

Melrose Place rarely disappoints because it knows what it is (especially now that Ashlee Simpson is gone): Intrigue below the surface, sexiness, scandal and over-the-top drama.
For the most part, "Mulholland" was a success, albeit a bit slow. Which wasn't so bad, necessarily, for an episode built almost exclusively around relationships. Here's Tvf's review:
Amanda is still poking around for her hidden treasure when she walks into David's apartment and starts checking out the art on his walls. She's interested in his "Sydney Original."
Unfortunately for her, even after some elaborate thievery of her own, it wasn't what she was after. Meanwhile, Riley's business trip to D.C. ends with her kissing her boss Ben.
Not awkward at all. They try to act casual about it. Until Ben decides he's bored with Amanda, then tells Riley he wants her instead. Wow, that was prompt and totally realistic!
Naturally, Amanda...
