This article contains major spoilers for The Flash.
Holy revolving door, Batman! The Caped Crusader has been portrayed by more actors on the big screen than any other superhero in history. Most of them have lasted for just one film. After The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale became the first man to have played Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego more than twice on the silver screen. He didn’t have much competition – Michael Keaton was the only other actor to reprise the role at the time.
But Ben Affleck has now beat Bale for appearances as Batman on the big screen due to his return in The Flash movie, making that fourth time Affleck has donned the cape and cowl. Sure, these aren’t movies starring the Caped Crusader but they still count! Meanwhile, Keaton ties Bale for three appearances, with a much heftier role in The Flash than Affleck.

Seth Rogen Gets ‘Inception’-ed, Carrie Coon Loves the Public Theater — The Week in Showrunner Tweets
One fascinating aspect of today’s media landscape is that many creators and executive producers enjoy using Twitter to engage with their audiences, share behind-the-scenes information about their shows, chat about politics, and otherwise communicate about what matters to them. So, each week, we’ll compile some of our favorite exchanges representing the wide variety of discourse seen on social media.
Last Week’S Tweets: Who ‘Mr. Robot’ Is Really Attacking, And R.I.P. ‘The Get Down’
This week: Bryan Fuller watches “Twin Peaks,” and showrunners love “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
We Would Watch The Crap Out of This
Think big, Hollywood, and listen to Shonda Rhimes’ casting suggestion here.
Obvious: only actor who could play Comey and do him justice?
"Lordy, I hope there are tapes," says Denzel Washington. Bam. Academy Award.

Chicago – As they say about Adam West’s interpretation of Batman, “he hit so hard, that words describing the impact appeared out of thin air.” But there was more to him than just the superhero tights, as Patrick McDonald, Spike Walters and Jon Espino of HollywoodChicago.com remember the three main characters in the career of Adam West, who passed away last week.

His career had three acts; first as a movie/TV contract performer, then as the title character on “Batman” in 1966, and then – after a struggle to go beyond that hero role – he embraced the comic side as “Lookwell,” which led into his work as a notable voice actor… most famous as Mayor Adam West on the animated series “Family Guy.” As his career blossomed again, and The Batman took off in movies,...

Adam West, who was beloved for generations as the man under the crimefighting cowl in the 1960s Batman TV series, passed away yesterday at the age of 88. West had an acting career going back to the 1950s. Today, Cinelinx pays homage to a gentleman who loved his fans, as we say goodbye to Adam West
Adam West loved playing Batman. Beginning with the Batman Tv show (1966-1969), he continued being involved with DC Batman projects, including Batman: the Movie (1966), The Super Friends (or Super Powers Team), the New Adventures of Batman, Tarzan and the Super Seven, The Legends of the Super heroes, Batman: the Animated Series, the Batman: New Times video game, The 2004-2006 Batman cartoon, Batman: the Brave & the Bold, Robot Chicken, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, and the upcoming Batman vs. Two-Face. Through all these projects, for over five decades, West voiced either the Batman or one of his supporting cast.

Los Angeles – When Adam West had a voice role on “The Simpsons,” portraying the Batman – as he had in the iconic TV series from 1966 through 1968 – he remarked, in reference to the rubber muscle costume that the movie actors wore, that his Batman was “All Pure West.” West died on June 9th, 2017, at the age of 88.

Many years back, Conan O’ Brien helped write and produce a show called Lookwell. The show starred Adam West as a former actor who truly believed he could solve crimes based on the characters he used to play. I was sent the pilot episode from an insider friend years ago, and spent the entirety of the [&hellip

Beverly Hills 90210 alumni Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are looking to team up to fight crime in Mystery Girls, a show Spelling is co-creating for ABC Family. The duo would play former TV co-stars who played teen detectives years ago, and who find themselves entangled in a real-life mystery after a witness to a crime insists on speaking only to their fictional alter egos. It sounds somewhat similar to Lookwell—Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel's infamous, never-aired pilot starring Adam West as a former TV detective who takes it upon himself to solve crimes—albeit with the ...

E! is giving a reality show to Ryan Lochte, What Would Ryan Lochte Do? The series will follow the swimmer as he continues to train and manages a dating life.
For the retun of Robin Sparkles, How I Met Your Mother has scored a "crazy lineup" that includes James Van Der Beek, Alan Thicke, Jason Priestley and k. d. lang.
At the TCA, producers explained how Syfy's Defiance will balance storytelling in a TV show and a cross-platform Mmo. Producer Ken Murphy compared it to different comic books set in the same shared universe. I just hope the storytelling works better than Haven's attempt at telling a tale over twitter.

We look at the nine actors who’ve graced Batman's cowl on the big screen, including Mr Ben Affleck…
Holy revolving door, Batman! The Caped Crusader has been portrayed by more actors than any other superhero in movie history – nine to be exact. Most have lasted for just one film, but with the release of The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale became the first man to have played Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego more than twice on the silver screen.
He didn’t have much competition – Michael Keaton was the only prior actor to reprise the role. Will Arnett's voice joined the club with Lego Batman Movie earlier this year, though. Ben Affleck could well throw all these records out, of course, given the sprawling DC Extended Universe plans now afoot and his vital involvement in them.
Here's the nine actor who've played Gotham's Dark Knight.

Cbr news recently talked with the star of the 1960's Batman Adam West about Bluewater Productions upcoming The Mis-Adventures of Adam West due out in July. The comic is co-written by Reed Lackey and West himself while the artwork is handled by Russell Dauterman. A brief synopsis courtesy of Cbr.. Coming this July from Bluewater Productions, the series co-created by Adam West -- the man, the myth, the legend who portrayed Batman in the 1960s television series -- features a fictionalized version of the pop culture icon solving mysteries, saving the universe and "slamming people's heads into metal objects" all in a day's work after receiving an exotic amulet from one of his fans. Cbr also went on to ask a few innevitable questions concerning West' Batman series. They also aksed for his thoughts on Christopher Nolans current run of "Bat films." Lookwell" was sadly never made, but "Batman," of...

There have been arguments for and against, but a revelation from The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Conan O'Brien's contract for 'The Tonight Show' did specify the 11:35 time slot. It's good to know that Conan did, in fact, learn from David Letterman's mistakes.
The only leg NBC had to stand on was the belief that Conan's contract did not specify the time. It didn't, but only in a 2004 amendment to an original 2002 contract (which makes it a seven year wait, not five). It was assumed by all parties that the amendment supporting the wording in the original article. NBC, being evil, tried to take advantage of this. Truth was the first casualty of the Second Late Night War.
We all knew that Conan had integrity. The fact that he kept quiet about this particularly contract details only proves it more. Wait until he gets another show on a different network (Fox?...

Chris Elliott is quite possibly the most famous person few people have heard of. His early '90s sitcom Get A Life is a classic and he's had runs on TV shows like Late Night With David Letterman and Everybody Loves Raymond as well as some memorable movie cameos. And now he's in a new TV show.
It's called Eagleheart and it's about an over-the-hill action star who uses his television show of the same name "as a soapbox for his right-wing politics and conservative paranoia". He'll likely be more carictaure than character. Is the character based on Chuck Norris, I wonder?
It is produced by Conan O'Brien's production company. Conan actually co-created a pilot with similar themes (an over-the-hill star trying to remain relevant) in the early 90's called Lookwell starring Adam West.
It's got the right star and the concept certainly sounds amusing. But did it have to be Cartoon Network?...
