Jimmy Briggs (Alfred Lynch) is shot down in his Spitfire and states he is a member of 44 Squadron. 44 Squadron was in fact a bomber squadron, flying first the Handley Page Hampden and then the Avro Lancaster.
Throughout the series, Vincent is armed with a large revolver. This is a Webley Mk V in 0.455 calibre. It was the standard British army revolver until 1915, when it was replaced in service by the Mk VI.
Vincent is an agent with the SOE in occupied France. There is no way he would have been issued with an obsolete British army revolver chambered for a round which would have been unobtainable in France. In fact, the SOE bought 7,500 Colt M1903 pistols for this type of work. They were a compact and concealable pistol, chambered for the .32 automatic cartridge, which had been very common in pre-war France, and was thus obtainable. Why the makers of the programme chose to arm Vincent with such an unsuitable and anachronistic pistol is a mystery.

Near the end of episode 6 as Nina and Vincent are leaving the house they pass by a partially open curtain which supposedly leads to an adjacent room. As they pass a TV monitor is clearly visible showing a live feed of the scene being filmed.
