Terrfic femmes; awful comedy dialogue
lor_14 April 2021
Jim Enright hit his comedy stride at Wicked Pictures in 1993 with hits like "Haunted Nights" and "Arabian Nights", but suffered the year before with a terrible Marc Cushman script for this spoof. Its saving grace is the casting of amazing porn stars for the viewer to ogle.

Instead of the expected caveman comedy we get a cavewoman (Paula Price, whose tan-lines represent a stupid anachronism) preserved in a block of ice found in a fake-studio-set cave by scientist Peter North, who thaws out back at the D. Christopher Scientific Institute.

That's the first in-joke in Cushman's crummy script, referring to pornographer David Christopher. We later suffer through a series of poor taste and pointless jokes making fun of women, gays, etc. And a groaner of a running gag referring to KFC's Col. Sanders.

Alicyn Sterling, styled oddly with dark red/auburn hair instead of her usual blonde look, is amusing as a horny philanthropist, who North has to hump in exchange for a necessary financial donation to the institute. Price is one hot lady, speaking in "Me Tarzan" English and humping her husband playing a scientist, Eric Price.

Biggest star (and breast in show) in the cast is platinum blonde Carolyn Monroe, who has sex with a co-worker at the institute, Cole Stevens. Stevens' acting is p*ss poor, reading his lines apparently off cue cards without conviction. Dominique Simone has sex with North -she is stuck with a silly role dressed like a stereotyped African native girl as a guide accompanying North to the cave, who turns out "comically" to be a girl from East Chicago who ended up living in Alaska.

Marc Cushman is the on-screen writing credit, a rarity for the prolific hack who signed his thousand or so scripts as Cash Markman, Bill Dollars or other pseudonyms.
