Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaWes Craven stated in a interview that he only directed one pornographic film, although he edited other pornographic films, and initially planned on producing his debut, The Last House on the Left (1972), as a pornographic film, until an actor convinced him to rewrite it as a non-pornographic film. Craven did not identify which pornographic film he directed, but after his death, The Fireworks Woman was identified as the most likely culprit, bearing many of his trademark themes and stylistic traits, and featuring Craven acting in the film as The Fireworks Man, a non-sex part implied to be Satan.

Okay
I'm a real fan of Wes Craven.
I stumbled across this film and decided to watch it anyway.
The first reviewer is right, it's a great example of porn when it could possibly appeal to women or thinking persons. I quit watching years ago when the art, romance, and fantasy went completely away. Please convince me to change my mind by providing examples of erotic films that don't just appeal to men. :)
It's nowhere nearly in the same class of Just Jaeckin's work from the same era. Not even CLOSE.
It is, however, very interesting to see how great directors can be distracted by money.
Aren't we all.
