There are several moments on Four Tet’s new album Three that sound like Aphex Twin B-Sides, which is less a sign of a lack of imagination but instead, proof of how widespread a particular take on ambient music has become. Maybe chalk it up to YouTube’s recommendation algorithm, the platform is awash in hour-long mixes of Aphex Twin tracks on loop (sometimes accompanied by a video of a serene-looking monkey relaxing in a lake), designed to play while you focus on work or school, or whatever. Four Tet...

With contributions from Trans+ on Screen founder Alice Blanc and Fringe! Queer Film and Arts Festival London programmer Jaye Hudson, amongst others, the series examines works including the experimental Japanese film Funeral Parade of Roses and documentary Born To Be, and it is supported by written resources. It aims to provide support for film programmers by addressing difficult issues around selecting and presenting trans-themed films.

Sza is the woman on top.
On Friday, Billboard named the “Nobody Gets Me” singer their 2013 Woman of the Year.

Last year, she also took home the Grammy for best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat.
“Since she burst onto the scene in 2017, Sza has defied genres and continually released raw, powerful songs which have landed her music on the Billboard charts,” said Hannah Karp, Billboard’s Editorial Director, in a statement. “The release of her latest album, ‘Sos’ has solidified her as a distinct force in contemporary R&b, and catapulted her into superstardom.

“Paper Girls” is a sci-fi adventure through and through, but, like any good adventure, it packs a few emotional punches. Among them is a conversation that Kj (played by Fina Strazza) gets to have in the future — but not with herself. It’s a moment with her future girlfriend, as she comes to terms with her sexuality.
In the series, which is now streaming in its entirety on Prime Video, Kj and her friends are transported from 1988 to 2019, then later backwards to 1999. In their travels, the girls have the opportunity to meet their older selves. But Kj opts out, and instead accidentally runs headfirst into her future self’s girlfriend.
It’s a jarring moment for Kj, realizing what her feelings mean and what kind of future they lead to. For the most part, it leads to absolute terror — until she encounters her future girlfriend once more. After observing her...

We've been impatiently waiting for To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You - the sequel to what is arguably Netflix's most popular rom-com, To All the Boys I've Loved Before - since the first film's credits rolled back in 2018. And now we're one step closer after the film's premiere in Hollywood on Monday night. The cast assembled at the Egyptian Theater ahead of the Feb. 12 release to celebrate the movie, and just seeing Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, and Jordan Fisher walking the pink carpet together gave our hearts a little flutter.
From what we've seen so far in the trailers, Lara Jean has her heart pulled in two different directions in P.S. I Still Love You. The arrival of John Ambrose - aka, one of the guys on the receiving end of one of her pesky love letters from the first movie - sends her...
