Margot Kidder, who is probably best known for portraying Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in the 1970s and ’80s Superman movies and starred in many other films including The Amityville Horror while struggling with mental illness, has died. She was 69. The Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston, Mt, said she died Sunday but did not reveal a cause of death.
Kidder appeared with many of Hollywood’s leading men during her 50-year career, including Robert Redford and James Garner, it was her role as the plucky Daily Planet reporter with a penchant for finding trouble in Superman (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983) and Superman IV (1987) that shot her to fame.
Born on October 17, 1948, in Yellowknife, Canada, Kidder started her career in TV in the late 1960s, guesting on such shows as McQueen and The Mod Squad. She starred opposite Gene Wilder in the 1970 film Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in the Bronx...

The 80s began the great years of Sunday morning cartoons, the 90s were a great cartoon year for kids, many tv series were on air with morning Sunday cartoons, like "Johnny Quest", "X-Men", "Phantom 2040", and the Japanese all time classic "Sailor Moon". With these great tv series it was understandable that there were some shows that got over looked such as "Carland Cross", a Belgian crime drama with a little Tin-Tin fantasy mystery from 1996. The show was based on the comic books from Belgium with same name, and only aired on tv from 1996 to 1997. It re-aired in Spain at 2000s. Story: Carland Cross, A very cold and methodical British private investigator from Baker Street in London, working alongside the police...

Apparently Mark Gordon is bringing The Phantom back to the big screen. The cult superhero has been the focus of countless tv, film, animated and comic book adaptations since his creation back in 1936 -- most recently a 2009 tv series that lasted only one season, and most memorably (though definitely not for the right reasons) the 1996 big-screen flop starring Billy Zane. That's not to say there's no potential there; the character has endured for good reason, and has appeared in a number of interesting incarnations over the years -- arguably the best being the Phantom 2040 animated series. This latest version has Drew Simon on board as executive producer for The Mark Gordon Company, and they are said to be currently looking for a new writer. Will you be glad to have "the ghost who walks" back? Or do you think he's had his day? Sound off in the...

For the rest who didn’t though, we pick up where I left off, as I casually shifted our conversation towards Will’s amazing career in animation! Roll the tape…
