John Mark Galecki, better known to the world as Johnny Galecki and the star of Big Bang Theory (TV), was born on April 30, 1975, to Richard and Mary Lou Galecki. Dad was a U.S. Air Force officer stationed in Belgium and mom was a mortgage consultant. At the age of three, Johnny and his family, which also includes sister Allison and brother Nick, relocated back to the United States, setting in Oak Park, Illinois. Galecki, who quit school in the middle of eighth grade, moved with his family from Chicago to Long Beach, California, when he was 14. When the family decided that they missed Chicago too much, they all moved back to Chicago. Well, not all of them. Galecki, then just 14, settled into a studio apartment in Burbank. On his own at 14? "On my own, yeah," Galecki told TimeOut Chicago a couple of years ago. "It made sense at the time.
