- [in Louisiana, their last lead exhausted, Scam and Obie are desperate to find Scam's Dad, so they go into a local bar to ask around]
- Obie: Excuse me, Sir, we're lookin' for Duane T. Henderson.
- Bartender #2: Who?
- Obie: Duane T. Henderson.
- Bartender #2: Never heard of him. What does he look like?
- Scam: He's big. A big man.
- Obie: He's black.
- Bartender #2: Niggers don't drink in this bar.
- [Obie climbs up on the bar, right in the Bartender's face]
- Obie: Listen, asshole, you keep talkin' like that, some day somebody's going to come in here, and stomp on your face, and piss in your eyes.
- Scam: [as they leave the bar] That's right!
- [with Scam sent to a group home by Social Workers, Obie decides to ask their friend Johnnie Red for help]
- Obie: All you gotta do is go in and sign the form, 'Duane T. Henderson'. That's his Dad's name.
- Johnnie Red: I don't go nowhere near The Man.
- Obie: Please. I can't do it without you.
- Johnnie Red: I ain't nobody's daddy.
- [later, Obie breaks into Johnny Red's place to try again to convince him to help, and Johnnie Red finds him there watching TV]
- Obie: He's my friend. He's the best friend I ever had. All you gotta do is sign the form. He's the best friend I'm ever gonna have. Are you gonna do it?
- [when Johnnie Red nods Yes, Obie jumps into his arms and hugs him]
- Obie: Oh boy, oh boy!
- [with Obie and Scam in the back seat, the bad guys are driving to where the boys dumped their Mercedes]
- Dickie: [speaking like a madman] I'm gonna blow their little ears off. No, I think I'm gonna cut their heads off and put 'em in a bag. No, you know, I think I'm gonna cut their peckers off and put keychains on 'em.
- Keegan: Their peckers aren't big enough for a keychain.
- Scam: Man, what'chu talkin' about? I got me a big pecker.
