With over 30 years of film compositions under his belt — from his 1984 debut with “Success Is the Best Revenge” to the soundtrack for Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming “Dunkirk” — Hans Zimmer is the rare household name in the world of film composers. His career is as impressive for its depth as its volume; Zimmer is as prone to pop up on the soundtrack for a Terrence Malick film as he is a Michael Bay film and has worked with regular acclaim in live-action, animation, and documentary to boot.

Marlon Wayans comes from a family that is synonymous with comedy. The actor/writer/director/"model producer" (we'll get to that later) first struck comedic gold when he teamed up with his siblings 13 years ago for "Scary Movie," which laid the groundwork for a lucrative series (#5 drops in April).
"A Haunted House," in theaters Jan. 11, once again gets its kicks from the horror/comedy combo. In the film, Wayans and Essence Atkins play a couple who discover some paranormal activity in their home, and what happens after they set up cameras around the house is ridonkulous.
We find out if Wayans has ever seen a ghost... and whose head he would like to poop on.
You and your family pretty much pioneered successful horror-comedy spoof films. Why do people love them so much?
I think when it's done right, it's a way to enjoy a horror without being scared to death.

America, you only have yourself to blame. In a pattern repeated for the past few seasons, "American Idol" viewers seem to get a little lazy this time of year and suddenly forget to vote for their favorites, putting one of the potential winners in jeopardy.
Case in point: preternaturally talented teen diva Jessica Sanchez. Even after killing it on Wednesday night (again) , Bebe Chez very nearly got sent home in seventh place Thursday night in one of the most shocking near-eliminations in recent history.
The judges didn't even have to hear her sing before they jumped up to save the singer , but she came thisclose to becoming the latest super-talent to wash...

"If you don't know my name, I'm not working hard enough." That's been Harlem rapper Donny Goines' mantra since 2006, when he first decided to pick up a microphone. His inspiration, as with so many other up-and-coming MCs, came from Jay-z. After watching his 2004 concert film Fade to Black (two years after it was initially released), he took on a reworked version of the name of famed novelist Donald Goines and hit the studio.
It may have taken him some years to get here, especially considering the pace at which new-gen rappers release music online, but he insists that he is in it for the long haul.

Could Madge and Sean be reigniting their old flame?
Another one of today’s hottest stories got its start here at HollywoodLife.com! We exclusively reported yesterday that Madonna and ex-hubby Sean Penn were spotted having a three and a half hour dinner together on Jan. 7 at NYC restaurant Adour, where they were seen dining on $48 lobster and veal. And now Page Six reports that even more eyewitnesses spotted the two sitting together for hours. “They seemed to be getting on so well, we had to look twice to make sure it really was Sean Penn she was with,” their source says.
Madonna’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg denies the report, telling People that the couple just happened to be in the same place at the same time. “Madonna was at the St. Regis having dinner with friends,” Rosenberg says. “Sean stopped by the table to say hello. He sat for ten minutes and then left.
